At the start of all this i was quite optimistic about the use of these EBT's mainly because the relevant bodies having every year done audits on each club allowed this to go on, so therefore you would think everything was above board regarding them as far as the authorities were concerned or surely they would not have allowed this to go on and if they suddenly find them to be used illegally then surely the Authorities have shown they are incompetent to have let this go on and all concerned should step down as unfit to run our governing bodies ?

This for me raises serious issues regarding the whole affair and Rangers cannot get punished for this (if found guilty) without the relevant bodies being punished as well for letting them continue to use the EBT's, but how would you punish the people who run the show who are corrupt, incompetent and totally unfit to run a bath never mind a football organisation.

But having seen the way the SPL and the SFA going about this shambles i am not so sure now that Rangers will get a fair crack of the whip regarding this matter, having seen Rangers slip thru their greedy corrupt fingers they are hell bent on continuing to punish Rangers at every opportunity, and if the previous actions of these governing bodies is anything to go by then it does not look good for Rangers as the SPL, SFA are still seething with the way things have turned out regarding Rangers and the money they will be missing out on.

As for any independent enquiry well can this be done fairly and properly after all the hoo hah surrounding the EBT's and the publicity it has caused, somehow i pretty much doubt it.
