Anyway again it's the minority that abuse the system and yet the majority, who do want a job and earn their way, are punished because of the minority. That just seems sh*t to me.
Oil companies were sold off, British gas was sold off, British Steel was sold off, hell I wouldn't be surprised if they had included "and the people of the UK into slavery" in there somewhere. We have nothing but services to sell now. Now a lot of the goods manufactured here are for foreign companies, such as Honda, Nissen, Ford etc who then take their profits abroad to spend them - and only manufacture here so they can avoid import tariffs for selling those goods to the EU. You also get companies like Starbucks, Apple and the like who "don't make a profit in the UK" (on paper due to creative methods of selling to their UK companies from other countries - where the profits go) and as a result don't pay taxes in the UK. Then you have chemical companies who do all the manufacturing in the UK of drugs ingredient - except the final product (when the tax is paid), they then export the almost finished drugs to say Switzerland to make the final product and it's there that they pay tax. I know a few that do that.
