That simple metric is confusing .
What i know is a cubic metre to me, is a 1000 litre oil carrier. Or a metre bag (big white bags you get from Wickes)
1 metre x 1 metre x 1 metre = 1 m? and I know it takes a forklift to lift it!

100 x 100 x 100 = 1,000,000 cm? = tonne (water)

1cc = 1x1x1 = 1cm? = 1ml
or the same as
10mm x 10mm x 10mm = 1000mm? (which isn't the same as 1000ml)

In this case, centimetres is better than milimetres, coz a tonne bag would be 100,000,000 mm? and that number is daft..

does a kilo neasure the same wieght at a litre

yeah a litre of water is a kilo.
but a litre of oil would be heavier,
same as a litre of gold would be a lot lot heavier

or is oil lighter?? but whatever... you have to us the SD (specific density) factor to convert.... it's a long time since I did Physics, 30 years ago

so a ml is the same as a gram then as long as its water and not a denser material
