THE TRUTH
The Hillsborough Independent Panel. 12/09/12
Today's report is black and white. The Liverpool fans were not the cause of the disaster.
The panel has quite simply found 'no evidence' in support of allegations of 'exceptional levels of drunkenness, ticketlessness or violence among Liverpool fans' and 'no evidence that fans had conspired to arrive late at the stadium' and 'no evidence that they stole from the dead and dying'. -
the leagues all time leading scorer.... big alan shearer for me.....if he had of used his head instead of his heart and went to man ure i'm sure most people would agree with me, but since he was at newcastle he sort of gets over lookedPS3= krazylegz120282

fair point but he was also in the premier league much longer than Henry and Zola. If Henry had spent his entire career in the Premier league then I'm sure he'd have scored more than Shearer.Comment

yes i agree with that and i think nistelrooy would of too and both had more flairComment
-
ha ha van nistlerooy never had any flair and i dont really recall a goal he score outside of the box....but yes gotta agree he was and still is a deadly finisher....agree with henry though he was and still is superbPS3= krazylegz120282

You will not be surprised to find that the goalscoring order doesn't change that much and indeed the man with the most Premier League goals to his name, also has the most penalties to his name and tops the chart whichever way you look at it. That man is of course Alan Shearer, who scored 260 Premier League goals and 58 penalties to top of both charts, with or without spot kicks. Second place belongs to a man who only ever took and scored one penalty and on a recent Goals on Sunday appearance, said he preferred to score "proper goals"! That is Andy Cole, who scored 187 goals in all. Third is Thierry Henry, who scored 23 penalties to reduce his tally to 151. Here is a top 10 of the all-time leading scorers excluding penalties and as you can see, one man to join the Premier League's 100 club this season gets in, Wigan's Emile Heskey, who has no penalties to his name!
Here is a top 10:
Goals minus penalties
Alan Shearer 202
Andrew Cole 186
Thierry Henry 151
Les Ferdinand 150
Robbie Fowler 146
Michael Owen 130
Teddy Sheringham 126
Dwight Yorke 117
Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink 113
Dion Dublin 101
Emile Heskey 101
Premier League penalties scored
Alan Shearer 58
Matthew Le Tissier 24
Thierry Henry 23
David Unsworth 23
Teddy Sheringham 21
Frank Lampard 19
Ruud van Nistelrooy 19
Peter Beardsley 18
Gareth Barry 17
Robbie Fowler 17
Gary McAllister 17sigpicComment

wow does that make andy cole the 2nd greatest striker in epl history
btw dont remember she-ra doing this very often
YouTube - van nistelrooy solo goal against fulham
Got to give you that one m8, it was a top goal. The way he burst out of the stalls in midfield and galloped through the defence was quite breathtaking, worthy of Kauto Star himself.

Ruud only puts that as his second best goal in a red shirt.Le Tiss has got to be one of the best ever to grace the Prem, worth my vote.Comment

Totally disagree. Thats what you call LOYALTY. He was a full International earning good money and playing for a club he loved. Why should he move if he was happy there.
Thats the problem with football today, there are too many mercenaries in the game .
