I see what your saying, It might be down to the fact i never wanted Rafa to go, It is improving i agree (the football) but its still the wrong way, The decision to appoint roy was a snap decision, He may prove us all wrong and get that CL place.. Its the style of play that gets me. I wish him luck, I like the man..

I can say Roy wasn't my choice either but i seen no other wanting the job. As saying you never wanted Rafa to go i can't agree since he and only he ran Liverpool into the ground. I think every team supporter wants attacking football (unless you are Italian) but the team Rafa left behind can't play that style til they sign another holding midfielder.

i dont think rafa blew, it. dont get on the bandwagon. lets remember he had 1 bad season. unfortuatly thats what he will be judged on. he done very well with the resources that he had, yes he did buy some pony players but every team does. a couple of cups and 1 point off winning the league aint bad. roy has big boots to fill, not my 1st choice but hey, lets see if he can string another 2 wins together and atleast a draw against chelsea. then im happy.

when i said he blew it i was talking overall.he wheeled and dealed in the transfer market and that wasnt entirely his fault, some were good some werent again more to circumstance than choice.where it went wrong for me was the barry saga, buying then selling crouch and keane with no replacement and then aquilani.i felt hed lost the plot and with it the backing of the players.after his first season i always felt that things werent right but somehow he seemed to pull results out in the nick of time which papered over the cracks.we all wanted to see an end to his rotation policy but he stuck with it which imo lost us our best chance of a title.

Who was he supposed to sign considering the financial constraints ? Maybe you think he could have fought City for the signature of yaya toure. He got in poulson and miereles at the loss of the very overated mascherano. Consider his midfield signings Cole,meireles,poulson and what you have lost in mascherano and i would say your midfield is better for it. ROME wasnt built in a day
