Ive said hes a nice guy just not what we need although light is starting to shine but if it wasnt for gerrard we would of lost thusdays game, hes got my respect, re-read my posts, should clear it up for you..

Lucas holding mifielder, Mxi, Kuyt wings, gerrard mereiles midfield, torres upfront, Pretty much a rafa setup. No long balls, kee possesion or we will get hammered, we have a world class team there, capable of beating anyone if playing properly.... Might as well dream about it..

Quite close to what would have picked but i think you need that big greek bloke in the center, he's the only one strong enough to deal with Drog. Skirtl isnt at the races for me and isnt Agger out ?
Pack the midfield for ball retention id have kuyt in front to help johnson with Malouda.

You are so right that if it wasn't for Gerrard we would of lost. I know he is trying to save players for the Chelsea match but even right now if we put our best out against them we could still lose. I think Liverpool should try it's best to win the Europa since it will get us in the Champions league. Liverpool shouldn't go out of they way trying to beat teams on the top 4 (Except Man U) and concentrate beating the lower rank teams.
