We have a stringent wage structure and if Sneijder wants to play for us then he will sign, if not then he can fk off, we will stick with what we have. Jones has looked a good enough signing since he chose Utd over Liverpool
Once you start paying pathetic sums of money for players your existing crowd will start wondering where there cut is and be demanding better contracts and before you know you have a squad full of mercenaries.

Sneijder is rumored to be on around the 200k mark and until the recent tax hike in Italy the tax on his wages was much less. Now it seems he will pay more tax over there than here. Might seem a minor issue 40% of your wages in tax and suddenly your on a measly 100k
