Because we are Liverpol football club and we believe in ourselves. I don't see anything to fear from last season or the opening days.

Arsenal will do well to finish in the top four, i doubt they will., they are weaker now than last season .
Spurs are one of those teams who pop up every few years only to retreat to mid table ish. The last two years they popped up.

Chelsea an ageing team, maybe leaving it too late to make significant signings.

Man City, could be there, time will tell. Not convinced myself but will probably spend more before the deadline.

Man Utd. Suspect keeper which could cost them a top four finish. Reached the holy grail and overtook us by One title. Mission accomplished. Top 3 because of other clubs deficiencies.

You struggled for 7th last season and through this i believe you will do ok through lack of fixtures. Thats the reality. Being Livepol football club is simply not enough.

Chelsea will challenge they have a good back four a stong deep midfield and a strike force thats fearsome on paper (if Torres stays shit ill show my arse).

Arsenal hmm they could collapse but i doubt it they have a deep squad of players all taught to play football the Arsenal way they will integrate very well.

City hmm easily a top four looking squad their only weakness is defense and their manager and with Tevez looking out the blow is immediately softened by Aguero's acquisition.

Utd hmm title proven and a young squad with plenty of depth especially in attack and defense, could be prone to a light midfield though. Favorites for the title in most peoples opinion however you have us a dropping out of the top four.

Now please explain where you are stronger in defense of your post as I and most sane people dont get it.

If your going to speculate expect to be pulled up on facts and if your going to claim a top 2 spot then back it up with facts or you look rather foolish.

I would say Liverpool is worthy of a top two spot over the other teams because we signed some good quality players. All Kenny need to do is find the right 11 and they will be tough to beat. Now the other teams who are Chelsea big signings? Torres? he can't score cause he's worried Terry will hit on his wife. Spurs want to sell their players Wenger is a cheap frenchman and won't spend any money. Fergie thinks the team last year is good enough to win this year but after today he now has to go to the transfer window to keep United in the top 5. What can i say about ManC they have all the money and will be tough to beat but as always they will beat themselves.

Utter nonsense in talking about the league champions who have strengthened their squad with good quality players. Young (who turned your lot down) and then Phil Jones (who came to us instead of you). The only point that is actually weakened is the keeper and all of a sudden were top 5 material.

just boils down to cash really and we cant afford ?50M outlay for a 27 year old jones may not be a sneijder but ferguson is looking to the future especially with rios injury problems at 16M and possibly around 15 years football ahead he will represent a good return if he fulfills his potential

unfortunately we would all like a bit of a sugar daddy and to sign loads of new stars but the books also need balancing getting rid of brown and oshea with younger models is strenghtening
