Manchester City and Liverpool will play the first leg of their League Cup semi-final on Wednesday January 11 at the Etihad Stadium.
The two teams will then face off again in the return leg at Anfield on January 25. Both games are scheduled for a 7.45pm kick-off.
The first leg is just days after the sides square off in the Premier League on January 3. The second leg will come just three days after City face another tough challenge in the shape of Tottenham at the Etihad Stadium.
Both teams will play six games in January in a packed schedule which is unlikely to please Kenny Dalglish or Roberto Mancini.
CrystalPalace, fresh from their victory over Manchester United at Old Trafford will host Cardiff City on January 10 and will travel to Cardiff City Stadium on January 24.
The first leg will kick-off at 8pm while the second leg will kick-off at 7:45pm.

I hope its true about Anelka id take him, would be a good signing and hes talked highly about his time at LFC in the past and never wanted to leave. He has also said he already knows where he will be playing next.

Rubbish performance, Adam should have passed to Bellamy instead of trying to win a pen. Should have been a draw but ref saw Spearings challenge as a red which changed the game. Well done Fulham move on to Saturday.

Maxi should have started, the less said about Carroll the better, Reina should have done better but i can let him off he's been a rock for us for years.

It was a harsh sending off, he clearly played the ball and as for his follow through....how the fek was he supposed to stop, Delembele ran into his path...but there you go.

I have said this again and again and again....we need a striker who can put the ball in the net, Suarez put it on a plate for Carroll who was 3 yards out and he missed the ball completely.

For any neutrals...it was a really good match, for me it was so effing frustrating.
