i dont think it will have the effect your thinking of, meaning it would turn us into a "selling club"

i just think no player is bigger than the club, as we proved with torres.

even with gerrard, we havent seen him play for 12 months and we are still doing well and playing good football. same with carra.

i think the ethos, style, philosophy, mentality of the club is more important and we seem to be getting that right more than others.

liverpool is a great platform for big stars as they know if they do well here they will get worldwide recognition, the agents know this and so do the players.

obviously i dont want us to sell the players you mentioned but its about finding players who get the club and want to stay and fight to make the club great again.

if the players want to leave and we get big money, for me, its bye bye player and hello new face......until we get the players who just love liverpool, are quality, and want to stay.

and they are out there in my opinion.

No one is selling no one, theres no sense speculating about players leaving when we are not even halfway through the season, I believe the current players know it is a building project and all understand what is needed.


btw...Podolski has been mentioned as a possible Jan target...your thoughts ?

No ones going anywhere, We'll get top 4, If not this year, next year. Lets just wait and see though, We are in a comfortable position at the moment, Just need to win our games.

I think Jelavich will be more likely, i wouldn't mind Podolski we need someone thats for sure. Don't rule out Rodalega either hes been linked with us for awhile and since he hasn't signed a new deal and his contracts up at the end of the season i can see him leaving in Jan.

If you think no one will be leaving if we don't get in the top 4 then your kidding yourselves. Reina will the first out of the door how many times does he need to say it himself hes said it on numerous occasions he wants to play in the CL and compete for honours.

but i do think podolski would be a goodbuy, he can play on the left aswell, is strong and works really hard for the team.

not sure about jelovic, something about buying a player from the scottish league and expecting him to be great in the prem doesnt sit right with me....

rodallega looked like a good buy before but he has hit a really bad run of form, he's been dropped from wigan and is struggling to score goals.....again a risk.

id rather wait until we find someone of real class and quality....but podolski wouldnt be a bad option right now either.

yeah id take podolski been saying for years now we need 2 quality strikers suarez has proved he is but andy carrol hasnt maybe because he isnt getting played
ive heard rumors that we are after higuain from madrid
so it looks like it will be a another good jan tranfer for liverpool
