I have to agree Liverpool needs more talent and i read the posts against me and i have to say no matter how you break down the wigan game Liverpool should of won end of story.

nobody is saying we shouldnt have won

what we are saying is dont get too upset right now that we arent beating these kinds of teams.

if we were losing or drawing and playing badly id be more worried....but we all agree we should have won and battered them.

thats the same story with almost every one of our draws this season.

this is a good thing, and the goals will come when we get the right players. we dont need pressure on us now, we just want to find those 3 top quality players now and we will start to fire!!

i hope the club takes its time and even if it takes a years or two....i just hope they buy real quality with the next 3 attacking signings.

What do you guys think of Jelavich who plays for Rangers? We had a bid rejected just before the transfer window shut in August, hes being linked with us and few other clubs again.

What ive seen of him he looks good, reminds me of Mark Viduka.

Liverpool fans will be pleased to hear that Luis Suarez topped the poll at midnight on Thursday night when voting was due to close.


Due to an error the poll remained open until 7.30am and in these hours a surge of votes came in for Manchester United winger Nani, which saw him overtake the Liverpool striker.


But as you'll see when you tune in to Goals on Sunday, we have recognised Suarez as the winner of the poll as he was top at midnight when the vote was due to close.


We'll also make it clear that Nani had overtaken him by the time the poll was taken down.


F'in Sky always having to put a dampner on it, there was no bleedin error, as usual they are against Liverpool.

i dont agree mate

every season is "must be this year" for us....and thats the reason we keep getting it wrong. we buy players we just arent sure of and in the end many have turned out to be crap.

i dont get everyones obsession with the stadium either?!

we need to foucs on the first team squad and make that as good as we can. if we do we will win things and that alone will create more revenue.

if we have 100 million now, spend it on the first team and we will make that money back and more if we win things.

whats the point in a 70,000 seat stadium if we arent winning?

if rafa, houllier and hodgson had got a new stadium it would have been empty most weeks, becuase of the crap, borning, negative football they played.

our style of football will attract players now, its about getting the right players for our system.......winning......and reaping the rewards later.

we have the money

i know we can get better players if we are playing champions league football.....but we should be looking towards the next 10 years not the next 2 or 3 in my opinion.

if the fifa fair play rules kick in and actually work its going to benefit liverpool bigtime becuase we bring in more money than city, arsenal, spurs and chelsea.

those teams can easily fall from grace and if they do they are fcuked.

if liverpool has 2 more mediocre seasons our club will not crumble and we will still be a big club with big revenue coming in.....

can we say the same for spurs, arsenal and chelsea (if and when abramovich leaves they are screwed!)

after torres i really dont care about the players anymore.....if its one thing i learnt, its that none of them love the club, like us fans do

i honestly dont care if suarez goes, if we get 50 million id be happy.

everyone thought after we sold torres we were fcuked and how will he ever be replaced....but we did and we found better.

and there are tons of good players out there.....

pepe reina i would be gutted to see leave as he is a world class keeper and those are hard to find.

enrique has been brilliant but he is a left back, there are others out there. we have two good ones at the club actually.

the point is we arent lagging behind arsenal, spurs and chelsea this year. we are playing better football aside from spurs, and i wouldnt swap our sqaud for arsenals or chelsea's

spurs wont keep buying now, they have pretty much shot their budget over the last 5 years in getting their team to where it is....

haryy will go to england, bale will move, modric will move and they will fall away as always.

arsenal wont throw money at it, they refuse to and thats why they struggle.

chelsea throw money at it every year but are so dumb they dont invest in youth and now need to rebuild the squad again, and they buy big players who just dont fit in.....their club has no ethos or style like us, arsenal and even spurs....

we have a great young squad, our back for are all under 27 (i think) and we have youth throughout the team. we have a style and a system....not the players who make that style and system its the manager and coaches.....

we will buy players to suit us.....unlike chelsea.

we have the man who was in charge of barca when messi, pique, iniesta and others were all kids. radolpho burrell.

we have an assitant coach in steve clrke who is one of the best defensive coaches in england (just ask mourinho)

and we have some good youngsters coming through

once bale, modric and harry leave spurs who will they be able to buy?........they arent going to have the pulling power like we do.....and they never will

we can see every one of our stars sold and still have more wanting to come and take up the challenge of making liverpool great again.......with that will come worldwide recognition

can spurs, arsenal or chelsea say the same?
