Yup i saw that incident looked bad the Oldham lad was well peed off about something someone had said in the Kop end he got emotional. Then it didn't help when them fans broke out in the Suarez chant, ugly scenes which will no doubtly overshadow the game.

Good to see Carroll score on his bday should have started for me, Kuyt missed quite a few chances should have had a hattrick. Bellamy was our best player on the night fantastic crosses, someone Downing could learn from but credit where credit due he scored Carroll's finish was a good one aswell.

Oldham can leave with they're heads held highly they should have been 3 or 4 up before Simpson scored that screamer.

I can see why Carragher hasn't been playing and o be honest i cnt see him starting many games now, he was dreadful for me, the only thing i can say is that the back 4 havn't played many games as a unit together but still Carraghers got bags of experience just not the legs anymore.

Good to see AC score, he should have had a couple, unlucky with his header late on. Good to see Downing get a goal, maybe that will help him.

Bellamy was immense tonight.

Also hope you are right.

I have stood on the terraces and shouted things at oppossing players...fat bassa, useless kannt, etc etc, nothing racist though and never meant what I shouted, its just banter to unhinge the player. Thats what fans do.

Let me be clear here...I do not condone any racial/religious comments but banter to me is acceptable.

same here i remember going watching wigan v arsenal last season when wigan came back and won 4-3 i was shouting at theo walcot cause he had bright pink boots on just as he was taking a throw in he must have heard me and threw the ball to a wigan player. banter is banter but we all no where to draw the line and liverpool singing saurez chants theres nothing wrong with that any other club would do the same.
