I so much wanted it to be a goal, the one time I wanted the linesman to get it wrong they get it right. It took me a while to accept that it wasnt a goal but credit to the linesman it was the correct decision.

Got to say though Ive tried to stay out of for kenny v anti kenny posts and I myself was for kenny but I tink we will need a mass overhaul in the summer and that includes kenny. He is getting the tactics, team selections and decision making so wrong.

Carrol just about can get another season but just cannot see any potential in Henderson, him along with Downing have got to go along with a few others.

Also the players we want to keep will end up wanting to go cos they want to play for better teams than dare I say LFC at the moment. We just are not showing anything to convince players to want to stay or convince to join us.

The team should have learned from the semi final .... you cant win playing sideways football! which we did for long peierods in the first half! reina was at fault for the first goal to all to easy for chavski!

Surely now downing and henderson will be leaving ??

In the same way I never forgave Benitez for throwing the league away in January of 09 I'll never forgive Dalglish for his starting 11 yesterday.

Fantastic day out spoilt by a cataclysmic starting selection.

Gerrard doesn't trust Henderson so can't fire forward, Spearing isn't ready for this level and Downing is the greyest man I've ever seen.

Never will we play a Chelsea side as bad as that again and lose.

Reina can **** off as well the useless shit, he's cost us so much this season, needs to up his game or jog on

The one thing i can't believe is Kenny keeps playing Downing and Henderson and if he could Adam would have been out their too. He played a stronger team against Norwich. Couldn't he tell putting that lineup out their forced Gerrard to play holding midfield? To top it off he blamed the lost on "nerves and inexperience"

Extremely disappointed by the performance yesterday, for the first 60 Min's we were dire.
Last to the ball,poor passing,poor tactics,team selection etc.
I have no idea how we could have a set up of Henderson and Spearing in central midfield as a result we were overrun, this was a key area which totally cost us.
The players just did not perform and only played well when Carrol came on and played like a 35 million pound striker.
He was just immense whether that was attacking or defending played his heart out.
Hopefully we will see some major changes starting with Kenny, for me he is still stuck in the 80S.
Unfortunately was hoping it would work out better for him, just has not happened.

Reina has been getting beaten too easily, seems to only save things that is straight at him literarly.

Carrol really played his heart out when he came on was determined to win every ball and the footwork for the goal was impressive....... wish he had that desire a lot earlier in the season.

Totally agree mate, Reina has played like a player who does not want to be at the club.
Feel this could be due to no champions league, he has been a great player over the yrs.
However no one is bigger than the club!
