Borini and Suarez look good together played like they've been playing together for sometime. Gerrard playing with freedom bodes well for the season.

Looks like Joe Allen's medical is 2moz

Borini was OK. He was in the right place at the right time when he scored. The whole game was Suarez and Gerrard. The funny thing is both games were meaningless. Did you really think Liverpool was going to lose. I know Gomel had chances but did you really think they would win. These games were the closest thing to a sure bet. I know they have to be played but were still a waste.

Sure thing or not it was good to see our main team play together and show us what we could expect for this season, the crowd came out in they're numbers to watch and they certainly put on a good show credit to the manager playing a strong line up.

That's what Borrini's game is being in the right position at the right time, he's more of a poacher which what we need. Suarez was our main man and Gerrard looked good as usual but for Borrini's first home game he did well playing along side Suarez for the first time they did well together.

Did you see where Suarez came from when Borrini scored. He came down the left side. I still think playing him their would solve the problem of not having a good left sided midfielder. Play Borrini or Carroll up front alone. With Gerrard crossing the ball into the box i see alot of goals being scored.

Rumours Fulham have dropped they're asking price of ?10 mill to ?8 mill for Clint Dempsey.

They had hoped LFC would pay the ?10 mill after hearing Roma were interested in him aswell, but seems as Clint wants to stay in the PL and his only destination looks to be LFC.
