Not as much as it would if you were in the top 4
THE TRUTH
The Hillsborough Independent Panel. 12/09/12
Today's report is black and white. The Liverpool fans were not the cause of the disaster.
The panel has quite simply found 'no evidence' in support of allegations of 'exceptional levels of drunkenness, ticketlessness or violence among Liverpool fans' and 'no evidence that fans had conspired to arrive late at the stadium' and 'no evidence that they stole from the dead and dying'.Comment

Has andy Carroll gone to west ham ? and aquilani going to fiorintina ?
Liverpool and West Ham have agreed a deal for striker Andy Carroll to join the Hammers on loan for an initial ?2m this season.
The deal will then see West Ham pay a further ?17m next summer to make the deal permanent ? providing that the newly promoted side remain in the Premier League.
The 23 year old England international arrived from Newcastle just 18 months ago, and despite showing encouraging signs toward the end of last season, has struggled since his record ?35m move to Merseyside.
Brendan Rodgers? appointment at Anfield appears to have opened the way for Carroll to leave the club ? following those who were responsible for his signing out of the club after Damien Comolli and Kenny Dalglish were sacked earlier this year. and also - Liverpool have agreed a deal for midfielder Alberto Aquilani to join Serie A side Fiorentina.
The 28 year old Italian flew directly to Rome from Liverpool?s North American tour and is expected to be announced as a Fiorentina player on Monday.
His departure will then clear the way for Liverpool to complete the signing of Welsh midfielder Joe Allen from Swansea City.
Aquilani joined Liverpool from Roma in 2009 ? as a replacement for Xabi Alonso ? but a first season marred by injury saw him fail to settle on Merseyside and the last two seasons have been spent out on loan to Juventus and AC Milan.
A major reason for Aquilani?s departure is believed to be his wages, with The Telegraph reporting that his contract equates to around ?6.5 million a year (?125,000 per week).
Aquilani wasn?t involved in the Reds friendly with Spurs on Saturday after Brendan Rodgers had told him he was free to leave the club.
By offloading Aquilani, along with Dirk Kuyt and Maxi Rodriguez already this summer, Liverpool have reduced their wage-bill by around ?300,000 per week . - source - thisisanfield.comsigpicComment

What do all of you think about all the Swansea players being linked to Liverpool. Don't you think they should look at some players from winning teams not just losing teams. I know Rodgers came from their but this is Liverpool he is coaching. Not some second rate team. He is going to feel pressure like he never felt before if Liverpool gets off to a bad start and if i was him i would look to players who can stand that pressure.Comment

All player have to start some place weather it be in the youth team of a famous club or playing for clubs like swansea some are ready for the premiership at a young age like owen but others take time to mature. If you look back at some of Liverpool players they have come from not so glamorous take Aldridge he came from Oxford at a late age, Barnes came from watford and they turned out to be great players. What do all of you think about all the Swansea players being linked to Liverpool. Don't you think they should look at some players from winning teams not just losing teams. I know Rodgers came from their but this is Liverpool he is coaching. Not some second rate team. More worrying to me is 4-3-3 yes it worked great for swansea, but teams going to swansea did not put 5 in the midfield to try to stop them playing. But they will against Liverpool and that formation could leave liverpool a little light in midfield.Has Brendan Rodgers got the knowledge too change tactics or even the players. If he get rid of Andy Carroll that's one less option.
Only time will tell.If you tremble with indignation at every injustice then you are a comrade of mineComment

According to reports Rodgers has been assured by the club owners that he does not have to finish Liverpool in the top four so that eases some pressure. So I guess the aim of this season is to start playing attractive football and stop getting turned over by smaller clubs at anfield. If he can't manage that then yeah he will feel it from the fans as we can't have a repeat of last season. What do all of you think about all the Swansea players being linked to Liverpool.
