i shall reserve any judgement until:

a) G&H are actually gone

b) I've seen the structure for investment from NESV

Once I have, any further judgements will be made when:

a) I see a 'spade in the ground' of a new or refurbished stadium, which is possible as LFC owns a vast area of land around the ground (OT was refurbished to a pretty decent standard)

b) I see a return on any promises made in point b) above

would not like a refurbished anfield... the area is too small ,would need to turn the pitch by 90 degrees i think.. sure that was looked into a few years ago...
and the dungs ground was not surrounded by terraced houses like we are.. so a new anfield... stanley park... my stud marks are still there somewhere... and my virginity...

thing is boomer m8 all the houses around anfield are coming down on all sides of the ground so space is not really an issue m8..

The club have bought a lot of the houses in the area around the ground.. there is massive potential to extend

I've done a lot of reading today, in fact i did no work at all, spent the whole day in work reading the net..!

Isn't there any people in England who can buy the club? How about an Arab with lots of money. LFC needs a new owner with money to get the club in the right direction then plan on building a new stadium that can hold atleast 70,000 people so we can make more revenue.

dont think the Arab people like to compete with each other in this sort of situation,thats what a few of us had a talk about last night, in my local.

thing is boomer m8 all the houses around anfield are coming down on all sides of the ground so space is not really an issue m8..

possibly so but seem to remember when these plans were 1st studied the ground would be at 1/2 capacity for a season, ie losing money. and stanley park is literally a stones throw away... also it would be 200 yards nearer to our kids house!!!! and he's older than me!!!!

if you look at the ground using google maps, its seems clear that to increase anfields footprint you would have to turn the pitch by 90 degrees.cant see how you could do the work and play on it at the same time.anyone fancy sharing woodison for a couple of seasons?
