I class myself as clever.. but what is going on..

Has this Texas court any weight..??

From what i can fathom out the only point in G&H doing this Texas gig is to scare RBS, NESV and Broughton as they all have US assets and do business in Texas...

What has that to do with a sale in the UK..????

I hope the Premier League step in after it's all resolved and lay down some laws to prevent any club having to go through this again..

This is what happens when someone buys a sport team just to make money and don't love the sport they play. I mean you don't want to lose money but if you love the sport you would make the team win. This is what happens when Americans buy football clubs. I only point out Americans since most people in the USA don't give a rats ass about football so any American is only in it for the money. I know LFC need to be sold but the people buying the team are only looking to make a fast buck but for now it will due.

the texas court is there to scare the interests of rbs, they wouldnt want to risk the u.s market so they may be prepared to accept the full debt to be cleared by mills financial or who ever. i still think they should accept the singapor bid, all parties would be happy then. debt paid h&g dont loose out and lfc get funds for transfers.

i honestly think the board are getting back handers from nesv

Tom Hicks in late deal to block Liverpool sale

Liverpool co-owner Tom Hicks is attempting to hijack the sale of the club by offloading his stake in the Reds to US hedge fund Mill Financial.
The club were hopeful of ending the ownership saga on Friday by selling to North England Sports Ventures (NESV).
Hicks believes he can scupper those plans by selling to Mill, which assumed control of American businessman George Gillett's 50% stake in August.
It would then pay off the ?237m debt owed to Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS).
NESV's ?300m deal is being held up by restraining order issued by a court in Texas, which is set to resume its hearing at 1300 BST.
BBC Sports editor David Bond said: "They are still bound by the restraining order which hasn't been lifted because the Dallas court inexplicably adjourned overnight.
"The feeling is that this was done to buy Hicks time to get a deal with Mill Financial done and potentially transfer the [debt] this morning, which leaves NESV in a difficult position because if the RBS debt is paid off a lot of pressure to sell to John Henry goes off."
But on Friday, NESV owner Henry said on his Twitter feed: "We have a binding contract. Will fight Mill Hicks Gillett attempt to keep club today. Their last desperate attempt to entrench their regime."
