Do you really think that ? I don't. I still don't see where the money is coming from, so don't see top class managers queueing up to manage us on a shoestring. I hope i'm wrong, so let's wait and see

      THE TRUTH
      The Hillsborough Independent Panel. 12/09/12

Today's report is black and white. The Liverpool fans were not the cause of the disaster.
The panel has quite simply found 'no evidence' in support of allegations of 'exceptional levels of drunkenness, ticketlessness or violence among Liverpool fans' and 'no evidence that fans had conspired to arrive late at the stadium' and 'no evidence that they stole from the dead and dying'.

        ha ha.. you auld twit..

        Football Hall of fame:

Yet in his early days at Anfield, an overawed Rush could barely find the net in the reserves. At heart, he simply didn't think he was good enough for Liverpool following his transfer from Chester in 1980 for a fee of ?300,000. Alan Hansen wasn't impressed, either. ?I watched him in training and thought: No pace, can't head it, can't score. They'll get rid of him at the end of the season.'

Frustrated by his lack of progress and upset at being the target of much dressing-room banter and ribbing, Rush was prepared to leave Anfield. Yet when word leaked out of Anfield, there was no interest from top-flight clubs. His career was clearly at a crossroads.

Around this time, during a dispute over pay, a fateful meeting with Bob Paisley took place. ?We bought you to score goals, and you're not doing it,' the manager said bluntly. ?You've got to be more selfish in front of goal.'

It would prove to be the turning point. Rush determined to play more for himself, and, suddenly, his strike rate increased, as did his confidence. ?I always had faith in him,' Paisley said later. His consistency was remarkable.

Yeh, Considering Everton have a few players out and we are pretty much fully fit and have a point to make... If we cant win this one the lynch mob will be after Roy bigtime.. But i am "feeling confident"!! We will net 3 or 4.

We were more patient in them days m8 but then again we had class players and could bring them in gently alongside world calss players to learn the game.
Guess those days are long gone. In this day and age theres not many good players slip through the net and with all the coverage even the average armchair fan can spot a decent player.
Theres not many players you can deliberate about and watch soleley in the flesh unless its a lower league player. any beer left

That interview didnt sound good. I had to rewind and listen to him say "its not over," twice, This is his purpose in life now...

I cant help but thinking, If he had the money to pay before the deadline and before nesv paid the 300mill, He has in fact been f?cked over illegally.....
