i posted this months ago.it was taken from another lfc site.at the time i couldnt swear to it being correct but other people seem to think it is.it seems clear that raffa was at best hit and miss with his signings but that could have been because he had no real funds and had to buy 2nd or 3rd choice players

Councillor's Hillsborough disaster slur to be investigated

A councillor who claimed on Twitter that Liverpool fans caused the Hillsborough disaster is being investigated.

Russell Hawker was referred to the local government watchdog by his council after complaints from an angry fan.

The Wiltshire county councillor, 48, said that "pushing and shoving" from "boisterous" fans was to blame for the deaths of 96 match-goers in 1989.

Cllr Hawker said: "I am not afraid to speak my mind or the truth."

Out of interest guys, what's Kyrgiakos been like at Anfield? He was an absolute joke up in Scotland. I couldn't see why Liverpool would want to sign him? & now he seems to be getting a game.

Mr Hawker admitted he has no connection with Hillsborough. ?I can?t say I was there but I was watching the telly on the day and saw it all happen,? he said.
Just about sums it up. He watched bits on the telly and could see and feel it all. ****ER

                                THE TRUTH
                                The Hillsborough Independent Panel. 12/09/12

Today's report is black and white. The Liverpool fans were not the cause of the disaster.
The panel has quite simply found 'no evidence' in support of allegations of 'exceptional levels of drunkenness, ticketlessness or violence among Liverpool fans' and 'no evidence that fans had conspired to arrive late at the stadium' and 'no evidence that they stole from the dead and dying'.
