i think theres a few people on here with faces the same colour as our shirts today (you know who you are )after that performance the whole team were outstanding that does include lucas and maxi by the way, we were forced to defend deep simply because chelsea had a lot of the ball and they had a lot of the ball because there a class team and we've just beaten them 2-0 so lets enjoy it and look forward to the next game

just got to make sure we get results at wigan and stoke, then home to the shammers... no use beating chelsea then throwing silly points away to lesser teams.. granted lucas had a very good game but by god we were due one from him..young kelly HAS to stay in the team. think he has the making of a class defender. all the rest were superb... but maxi should have scored late on... just to rub their noses in it....

aghhhh maxi and nando made me shout at the TV.. i very rarely shout 'kick it' as that's what my nan used to shout at the TV.. but i did find myself shouting.. "Fcuks sake hit the bastrad"

I hope roy keeps tht setup, You could see today we are better than chelsea, I think we were right to park the bus 2nd half and hit them on the break, Remember this years CL semi-final 2nd leg with Barca & Inter, Thats what the great one did... If we keep it like this and win lots of games!!! We'll win the league! Played like a unit today, Gerrard controlling th midfield like Alonso did, That shoud be the norm from now on with Torres & Kuyt up front, I hope Poulson nver gets another PL start unless Lucas is injured because Lucas is well worthy of his shirt.. 40 million striker in January & Pepe is world class.

Was wondering when this little gem would crop up and it had to be you pilla just had to be.

I was pissing myself watching Chelsea's midfield get owned by ~~~~in Lucas in the first half. Dont let it go to the head though as the chavs rely hugely on Essien and Drogba and when either dont play they are insanely average. You owned the game for the 45 mins when both were off the pitch but when the Drog came on it impacted massively on Chelsea's game it wasnt coincidence Liverpool ended up parking that bus.
Not taking anything away it was a fantastic performance from the whole team and a deserved 3 points, just imagine if Torres was on top of his game the score may well have been a lot bigger.

Was great to see Torres score. What was better was the way he scored that is going to bring back his golden scoring touch. I thought Kelly played great and won't miss Johnson if he never plays again (sends wild crosses in all the time) But about the game Ancelotti blew it. why didn't he start Drogba? cause as you seen the 2nd half was all chelsea cause we had to stick to Drogba like fly's on sh*t. and without Essien they look like a mid table team. Don't get me wrong Liverpool deserved the win cause they were the better team. Can you imagine if Liverpool had a player like Essien. Makes me miss Hamann.

Not enough experience imo, Maybe in a decade or so! Im sure a lot of peoples dream is to manage Liverpool, Cant wait until wednesday to see how we play..!

He wore them against Napoli too.. Maybe he has sensitive hearing.. You don't get much noise at Baseball games.. It took my lad a couple of times to cope with the noise when he went.. If your not used to it I can imagine it'd be pretty loud at first

Well Rooney has signed so that's the Mancs out.. City why anyone would want to go there, apart from money, I don't know.. Taggart is right.. Noisey neighbours .. I can't see him going to Chelsea either.. If he does go it'll be to Barca.. Hopefully though he won't.. If we make a good signing in Jan that should go some way to convincing him

personally speaking i think all this criticism of woy is well out of order,credit should be given to the man regarding he left the comfort of Fulham to take on the biggest job in world football,the turning of the great red liner, and putting her on course for calmer waters ,any true red would realise we were well and truly ~~~~ed ,this man takes abuse on a daily basis ,from fans and the press.....lets do it the liverpool way judge at the end of the season i mean to say he only has to finish 6th to better last year,we know it aint a short job, it is long term ...myself i am still finding bits of humble pie caught in my teeth from yesterdays lunch,and you know it dont taste that bad.....only criticism i have against you Mr hodgson ,please please please ,next time whiskey nose taggart ,has a go at one of our players , tear him a new arse please ...and ask him about a Mr Nani ................Rant over time to try and get my 500s running as sweetly as torres was yesterday ...Gaz

played well yesterday think the key was the midfield looked and played with alot more balance than of late kelly played well as they all did thou maybe subs could have been used bit earlier to stop them oh yes just to had to good result had a tenner on torres and 2-0 lovely
