Comparing Newcastle's next three games Blackburn (h), Fulham (h) and Bolton (a) with Liverpool's Wigan (a), Stoke (a) and West Ham (h) 5th place before the end of November is within sight, then it's all about reeling Man City in, who are more of a one-man team than Liverpool for sure.

I'll 2nd that re R.I.P Emlyn Hughes. I was on the staff at Rotherham when he was still around there and he lived not too far away from me in Sheffield. He always had a word for you, always was good value in the local & was always an absolute gent.

A true ambassador for the game and a great human being. Wish there was more like him in today's game.

cant believe sundays result. i was preparing myself for an embarrassing defeat the last 2 wins were unconvincing against pretty average performers in the league but we actually looked like a team for only the 2nd time this season (the 1st being the 2nd half against arsenal, it was all downhill from there)

u beat yourself last season,sunday league team would of beaten u on that form.was very impressed with display on sunday but thats in the past u must push on from here or may be back to square one u need to keep torres and gerard fit especially torres with his probs in the past.
