to be fair if Liverpool don't come close to winning the league either this season or next then Gerrard will be off, as will Torres and Reina..
Gerrard is desperate for a League title medal.. I think he'll jump ship to Spain if he gets an offer he can't refuse..

now why would stevie g go to spain to win the league??? think the last team to win it apart from r/madrid or barca, was "valencia"... managed by ?????
if he wanted a league title he could go to rangers... colder but nearer.....YNWA..Comment

no I'm not.... not one of our players can even entertain any excuses of being tired after a full 2 week break..
I'm not daft enough to think we can win it, but a full concerted effort to at least throw the kitchen sink at it may be good enough to climb to 4th..
There is no excuse now after this break, it could be a big blessing in disguise..
Plus imagine we did.. old Taggart would pop a vein in his head with fury.. "They got a two week break, its unfair, whinge whinge whinge"

R.I.P Avi Cohen
BBC News - Israeli former football international Avi Cohen dies
Former Israeli international footballer Avi Cohen has died from head injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident, his son Tamir Cohen says.
He was pronounced brain dead by doctors at Ichilov Hospital in Tel Aviv, the Jerusalem Post reported.
Mr Cohen, 54, was gravely injured in a motorcycle accident in Tel Aviv last week.
The defender was the first Israeli to play in the English top flight when he signed for Liverpool in 1979.
"To our great sadness, a health ministry committee was in the hospital today and confirmed that our father is indeed brain dead. Which is to say, he has died," Tamir Cohen said, the Reuters news agency reported.
Avi Cohen made 24 appearances for Liverpool, scoring one goal in the match against Aston Villa which secured the team the 1979-80 league title.
