Pepe deserved the the red card but wasn't it his second yellow that got him the red. A player can't lead in with his studs showing that is a red cad no matter if he touches the player or not. The joke about it was he never touched Alves and he rolled around like he was shot.

You can see the difference between players like Alves (Brazil) and other South American players and the English and German players. In today's Liverpool Newcastle game Joey Barton got kicked in the face and all he did was rub his face and shake it off now if you seen Alves or Drogba get kicked they would still be on the ground crying you know like that crybaby Nani. Yes indeed i agree with your wooo, but considering we had our worse opening half to a season since we were relegated over 50 years ago and the fiasco off the pitch with the yanks then i think it would be a fantastic achievement on this occassion.

Doesn't say much for the rest of the league though does it , when after our worse season in my lifetime, we are only 7 points off a champions league place. The Liver bird is rising from the ashes like a phoenix
