Yes but he did say he spent loads and it has been mentioned in this thread before by none reds the amount of money we have spent. Khan is just setting the record straight and when you look at the figures we haven't spent that much

Not disputing that Bd m8 and khan has went into great detail about it, which is commendable of him Just commenting on what andy said in his post and not on what has been said in the past.

What's the whole deal with people goin on about how much we've spent. Who cares what other fans think, who cares if we have spent alot on players i rather this then go back to the Hick n Gillette years. Its money well spent to get back in the CL and if we do then the money will be recoupd.

Google mate, I would say 65% of the above figures are common knowledge the other 35% various variations need to be taken into consideration ie length of contract which was still outstanding.
Anybody that knows me from other forums knows, I have debated this so called myth that we have spent big for a very long time in particular the Benitez era.
Now if anybody would like to show me figures for city,chavs etc now that would be interesting as they have certainly spent big and recouped near enough nothing.
To say we have spent big is very misleading indeed!

Its relevant mate as we don't want to be in massive debt like many, many other clubs.
Very important clubs spend what is deemed with in there revenue and imperative for us to carry on spending, we need to build a bigger stadium and to increase our market around the world.
It is also imperative we find players with in our youth system who will save us ???? millions in transfers in the future.

im not doubting the issue i don't think we've spent huge amounts either and even under Rafa we recouped alot in transfers. But i don't think some of them figures are right that's why i asked but il have a look

Sounded like you was talking about our spending in the previous post, if you were talking about players you will find not much difference again in net if you look at outgoings and incomings granted loan deals are taken into consideration to.
