Exactly why can't some people take a defeat on the chin, bite the bullet and accept we were rubbish yesterday and deserved everything we got. It wasn't like the Stoke game where we should have got something, Spurs were the better team and outclassed us.

What doesn't break you only makes you stronger!!

lets be fair, when a small club like Tottenham with no history and honours you could write on a postage stamp take 3 points off a world famous club that's won 18 league titles and 5 European cups then their fans are bound to be happy..

A win to get the confidence back again will do fine enough. Cup games are totally different, anything can happen.

Nope, I have confidence in Carroll netting a couple of great goals.

I think after he does score he will become a great player again, bet your all wishing for Gerrard back tonight, might come off the bench in the second half. Good luck lads

Ryan Babel, 24, had not received an international call-up since November 2010, but a return of five goals from seven matches for Hoffenheim so far this Bundesliga season has prompted his inclusion.

Good to hear he's doing well, deserves the call up

It was nice to see Liverpool pass there way out of the back instead of launching the hail mary pass. It was great to see Gerrard back. Liverpool will be a different team when he gains his match fitness. I think Maxi deserves a start i thought he played well yesterday.
