Yes 3 points were a must today but once again we had 20+ shots in a match and only 1 goal. Too often we have dominated a match and not got th result we deserved. We played some real good football in 1st half but cos we didn't finish them off we left them a chance to punish us.

he may had a few good games but the guys a liability. Hes too clumsy and QPR could have easily had a pen on another day even if the Faurlin did make a meal of it. I would rather see Coates be given a chance.

You got that right! Worked very hard for the 3 points and almost threw them away at the end. Why wasn't Bellamy in the starting line up. The Bigger question was why was Downing? Everyone gets on me but do you see what i see. Kuyt had a great game why was he left out of so many games? Maxi and Bellamy play so well together why was he taken off for Bellamy and why didn't they both start? I'm not going to make a case for Carrol but with QPR shaky defense he could of scored for a confidence boost but wasn't a big deal if he played or not. Once Gerrard comes back i don't ever want to see Henderson on the pitch. This should be the line up when Gerrard comes back.
Reina,Kelly,Agger,Skirtl,Enrique,Shelvery,Gerrard, Maxi,Kuyt,Bellamy and Suarez.
I know Adam works hard but Shelvery is bigger and stronger to fill in for Lucas unless they go shopping for a holding midfielder.

I was pleased but we do need to improve, Kuyt is the weak link i think and needs to be replaced with sheer quality in Jan if we want to make that push for 4th.

Kuyt was unlucky, he was playing mostly on the left as Downing was on the right wing most of the game. Suarez was greedy he could have squared for Kuyt 2-3 times but he went for glory which hes in his right to do. Alot of the game was the Suarez n Maxi show which is good to see him link up well with someone. Bellemy should have started instead of Downing/Kuyt......

We're coming upto the halfway point of the season and i for one am happy with what i've seen. I've been sick and tired of the boring football we've played in recent years and it's great to watch us play attacking football again.

Ok so we can pick the bones out of every game we haven't won this season and we're all great managers who would have done things differently to win those games, but let's look at the bigger picture.

Did anyone believe we would win the league this season? I doubt it. A top four finish is the best we can hope for. I said we need to finish comfortably in the top four and not struggle for that final spot, and i still believe we will.
People want instant success and aren't prepared to wait whilst a manager builds a team.We had instant success under Rafa, we won the European cup and it was all downhill from there. Kenny is doing a good job and will make mistakes as all managers do. Don't believe this shite that he's been out the game too long and he's tactically naive what a crock of shit. The only people saying that are the internet managers who could have won those games we lost.

I, like many of you have been watching the reds for many many years and have seen the glory days and want them back again. we are on the right track back and we'll get there again, there is no doubt in my mind about that I'm looking forward to the rest of the season and the continued progress by Kenny and the club. Just be a bit more patient the club is going in the right direction and the future is looking bright.

Id be happy with a top four finish and the a Carling cup. If we achieved this i think many would say we over achieved. Liverpool usually have a better 2nd half of the season then the 1st half, with a couple of fresh new faces i beleive we will push on even better.

Good result today seeing Spurs lose, although they were unlucky with some of the decisions.

What are you talking about Kuyt was the bset player out their. When he receives the ball he atleast know what to do unlike Downing and Henderson. Everytime the ball is passed to them it's 1 sec and they pass the ball away like they are afraid of it. I'll say Downing made one good run and one decent cross other than that he is sh*t. If you think replacing Kuyt is the answer then you think 7th place is a good spot.

I would be happy to but the Carling cup don't get us a spot in the CL. The whole season is based on a CL spot. If you want to keep top quality players and attract world class players to Liverpool you need to play in the CL.

I don't know what match you were watching Wolfy, cos the match I watched Suarez was a country mile ahead of anyone, Neil Warnock said Suarez was brilliant, KD said he was amazing, Brad Orr (QPR defender) said Suarez was unplayable.

It's all about squad rotation and keeping players fit for the whole season. Maxi played well but scored just as many as Adam/Henderson/Downing/Kuyt...none.

I believe KD will buy a striker in Jan cos we are playing some of the best football in the EPL but just cant get it between the sticks and when we do get it on target, some keeper makes an unbelieve save/saves.

Give the new players a break, lets see if they come good and for me...that includes Carroll (as I said he is a tube but hope he proves me wrong)

Joey Barton has paid tribute to the Kop after he received a rapturous ovation during Saturday's 1-0 success over QPR.



The former Newcastle midfielder's reputation has risen amongst Reds fans after he was a vocal supporter of an online petition urging the government to withdraw its opposition to the full disclosure of documents relating to the 1989 Hillsborough disaster.
Communicating via his official Twitter account following the game, Barton said: "Ah well, maybe we could have nicked a point in the end. Definitely the stronger team towards the end. Liverpool played some great football 1st.
