In an interview with Talksport today Bruce Grobbelaar claims KD will deffo sign a striker and is interested in bringing 2 in. One apparantly is a South American who plays in Holland which alot of people are claiming to be David Texeira who plays for dutch club FC Groningen and is a Uruguayan, who could have been recommended by Suarez and Coates.

Whether its true or not i don't think KD will be happy with Bruce opening his mouth.

By the way David Texeira's full name is C?sar David Texeira Torres, so maybe the rumours were true Torres is coming to Liverpool but just not the one we know of.

We have also been linked with midfielder Esteban Granero these past few days who is at Real Madrid and has come out in recent days along with his agent saying he wants to move to Liverpool.

It looks like the owners have decided to use the original 60,000 seater stadium plans which were made by Manchester based Architects AFL in 2003, rather than the futuristic design previous owners HIcks & Gillette had. This will mean no planning permission is needed as the plans were approved by the council, but sources close to the owners say that some tweeks may be made.

I personally think the Hicks & Gillette design is better, the Kop is also seperate in that design, with this one its more integrated with the other stand. All that is needed now is a sponsor to finance it.

I prefer the outside of this design and the inside of the original design apart from the Kop stand in the original as it has to seperate from the other stands and not integrated. The KOP stand is the heart beat of the stadium and should be the focal point.

Playing Kuyt upfront alone was a mistake. Kenny needed to play 2 upfront from the start. Stoke was playing for a tie and parked the bus. I can't blame Kuyt of Carroll since Stoke has some very big defenders plus Crouch. Liverpool needs a Holding midfielder cause Adam don't want play their and cause of it Gerrard is playing a little to deep to be effective going forward. I don't get why everyone wants a striker? He would get as much service as Carroll and Kuyt got today and that would be nothing. out of all the crosses Johnson made maybe one of two were ok. Liverpool can't cross the ball with any quality.

that rodent faced sewer rat, gary neville, did abit of analysis on our game today and the amount of times kuyt is not up front and out wide and even at times in centre mid, when we are attacking is stupid.

he was given his chance UPFRONT and the man ran around everywhere apart from in the box.....old creaky, wd40 kuyt needs to be sold

dont get me started on downing the guy is shit, he cant cross a ball to save his life! why cant he get the ball off the ground above head height?!?!

It's not that i just got a football brain It's just you people have come around to what i have been saying. I know alot of you don't like Kuyt but give him a break. He is not match fit since Kenny don't play him also he should always be on the right. He looks bad sometimes cause Henderson don't make the right runs.
The player Liverpool need to sign is Esteban Granero. He will sure up the midfield. Forget about a striker unless your going to sign players like Mario Gomez or Karim Benzema who are proven i don't want to see a hope he works out type of striker.
