leotheloin: what are you showing us? Nani diving!!!! He was already going to the floor before the challenge and even if he wasn't, the contact would've been just above the knee. Footballers legs are always going to get touched in a tackle. Nani's challenge was chest high, very dangerous and rash. I for one was happy to see ferguson acting like the spoiled child that he is. He has intimidated referees for long enough. This one never lost his bottle. United are where they deserve to be. OUT!!!!!!Comment

Apparently Fergie banned The Times and The Sun from his weekly press conferences until they apologise because of the Rooney article.
Wenger did the same last month, don't know if it's still in place tho.

The drunken pickle nosed tramp has banned the media from a press conference, whatever next? The way things are going he will be defending drug cheats, Assailants, Adulterers, immoral people and the rest of Man Utd

THE TRUTH
The Hillsborough Independent Panel. 12/09/12
Today's report is black and white. The Liverpool fans were not the cause of the disaster.
The panel has quite simply found 'no evidence' in support of allegations of 'exceptional levels of drunkenness, ticketlessness or violence among Liverpool fans' and 'no evidence that fans had conspired to arrive late at the stadium' and 'no evidence that they stole from the dead and dying'.Comment

Sir Alex Ferguson in 1988
"This isn't just a job to me." "It's a mission. I am deadly serious about it. Some people would reckon too serious. We will get there, believe me. And when it happens, life will change for Liverpool and everyone else - dramatically."
Sir Alex Ferguson.

GC1966: I read an article in the newspaper last week quoting Ferguson, praising Giggs:
I've been a Liverpool fan all my 50 years and have obviously been drawn into the compulsory hatred of our arch rivals. But I still must appreciate the class of football that they play. And it is class. Any team who can excel in the premiership by such a margin must be appreciated. That's football.
But how can Ferguson as a man, heap praise on another man, (look at his quotes) and tell the world what a great person he is (forget the football) when he fu**** his own brothers wife?
Is there any morality in Fergie?Comment

My point is: It's now called the Champions League. Liverpool won it in 2005 and they were not Champions of their own league. Man U have also won it when they were not champions of their own league. Why is it called the Champions league? When Liverpool won it the previous 4 times it was a knockout from the start. No second chances!!!! All about bottle!!!! It was called the European Cup.
And as for that premiership b*******. I'm sick of hearing that. It was the old first division. 2 points for a win, 1 for a draw. Whichever way you look at it, it was the top league in the country and we won it 18 times and it was harder then. You couldn't get a 2 point advantage if your closest rival drew in those days. I remember being 3 from bottom at Christmas & still winning. Rename it & change the format as many times as you like, Liverpool won THE league 18 times. You can't change history unfortunately.
It's all about money.
UEFA: Lets call it the champions league and let the top 3 or 4 teams from each country compete!!!
I for 1 don't feel fully complete as a fan, that we finished 4th in our domestic league and won the European trophy in 2005. Although it was a great night.
You've contradicted yourself. Was it a different competition or a different format?
Different format on both counts I think. The European cup is now the Champions League and the old First Division is now the premiership.
Either way, the English league produces the best football and the best banter in the world.
May it long continue!!!!!Comment
