I'm sorry but I've just been reading about the interview and this guy is NOT sorry about anything he's done.

Joorabchian claimed Tevez's thoughts about the incident in Munich gave a misleading impression of his current frame of mind and claimed the player was determined once again to prove himself an asset for City, if given the chance.
To aid the situation, it is believed Tevez will drop his appeal to the Premier League against a six-week club fine, totalling around ?1.2million.

Well that's nice of him isn't it?

Joorabchian said: "He's saying he will get himself ready as the club have requested him to do, because the club have said Carlos coming back can only be an asset to them.
"I've spoken to the club today, I've spoken to the club regularly on a daily basis and I think everyone agrees that from a football point of view Carlos can only be an asset.
"Now him and Mancini have obviously managed to resolve issues. What he had explained in his interview is how he felt back then. I think that the club and Carlos are taking this in a very positive way.
"He has a lot of repairs to do with the fans and he realises that and he has said that he's ready to apologise if he's done something wrong.
"And he's said that he sincerely never felt that he was doing something wrong at the time, and he understands that his actions may not have implied that."

I think they may have to resolve some more issues now he's stated Mancini treated him like a dog!

And he's ready to apologise IF he did something wrong???

The striker revealed he was ready to apologise if the club deemed it necessary.
"I do not think I was wrong, but if they (the club) think so I apologise. I am ready to return, to win and do the best for the club's shirt," he added.

That doesn't make sense either. So he's willing to apologise for something that he doesn't think was wrong?

Tevez seems to have shot himself in the foot, his reasoning for not coming off the bench against bayern munich was "there was a misunderstanding", now in an interview with American TV, he says the following:

Tevez claims he sat back down on the bench after warming up because he believed Mancini was employing a more defensive approach after taking off striker Edin Dzeko and replacing him with holding midfielder Nigel de Jong.

"I was kind of in a bad mood and when (Mancini) brings on De Jong and takes off Dzeko, and we're losing 2-0, I thought it was a defensive substitution. So I decided to sit back on the bench," he said in an interview with Fox Sports in Argentina.

"So I'd already warmed up for 10 minutes and he has this attitude that he wants to lose 2-0 instead of 4-0.

"So I sat down and at the same time Dzeko comes off and is really angry and has a go at Mancini. He then sees the tunnel is closed so he has to sit down next to him and they start to have an argument.

"Dzeko was speaking Bosnian and Mancini would swear at him in Italian, so it was a real mess.

"So I go and sit down and he doesn't see me because he's having this discussion. But then he turns around and sees me and you can imagine what happens. He's in the middle of an argument.

"So then he tells me to keep on warming up and treats me like a dog. So when he spoke to me in that tone of voice I said 'no I'm not going out'.

"So I was willing to play but the coach was in such a foul mood, because he had that argument with Dzeko, he started on me as well, started swearing at me.

"That was him, because I was very calm. I was just sitting on the bench and you could see from the footage I was calm and just talking to (Pablo) Zabaleta. Mancini said some horrible things to me."
    ______________________________________

I hope the FA read this and see they where duped either by Tevez himself, or his scumbag agent, Joorabchian, and reinstate his initial fine imposed by City, he's also lied to the PFA, who should wash there hands of him.
regardless of how the manager speaks to a player. and we all know about the "hairdrier" treatment Fergie gives out, you do as you told, that's why their the Manager.

I don't think he would have a leg to stand on, and I agree I'd rather see Gary "rat boy" neville play in a blue shirt than him again.
let him rot till the summer, it's not like we've missed him, in our "one man team" , and if it drops his value, so what, it's not like we need the money.

we'll get a better idea tomorrow(monday), sky sports news on FOX Sports' have an exclusive interview with Carlos Tevez on the Fox Soccer Report at 10 PM ET.

Carlos Tevez contests Manchester City fine with Premier League

BBC Sport - Carlos Tevez contests Manchester City fine with Premier League

I don't want him anywhere near the 1st team and will cause animosity between players.
He's been missing for months so why should a player be dropped to let him back in the side.

I know there is another post on this but Man City talk should be in the Man City thread.
That is why I started it.

It's funny how no one kicked up a fuss when the land was initially going to be used as a super casino,
it was only when city made plans to redevelop the land then the united fans cried foul.

and to all these out of town manure fans,
when you pay council tax here, then you have a right to an opinion how the council decide how to improve the city.
it's bad enough the Tory's slash our budget by ?192 million, if someone wants to invest 100s of millions making improvements, then ALL Mancunians should get behind them.

He's getting offered a good price hed be silly not to except it, if the Arabs pulled out he wouldn't get that sort of price from anyone else, especially in this current financial climate.

The whole of the are is being regenerated by the Arabs n the council, which is only good for the city. He needs to think with his head n not his heart.

my point is united and now there fans don't give a shit about the city who gave them there name, his land is currently empty and not being used,
there is a sixth form collage to built on it, as part of the training complex, but because the city owners are paying for it, he wont sell,
as now stated in other reports the land is actually worth around ?20k. he was offered the full market value plus compensation,
and it isn't just him, around 30 other company's have already sold up and moved,
he doesn't even live in beswick, he lives in Stockport, so his actions are affecting a whole community.
anyway let the dumb united fans pay ?250 for a plot, and line this ~~~~wits pocket to the tune of around ?1.4 million,
because the council will get a CPO, at the market price,(because it's in the public interest) and they wont see a penny back, and I wonder how much of the money he makes will go back to your club or good causes.
this guy is not going to do anything except ripping united fans off, much like the glazers,

i also contacted united they wouldn't help one bit not even a discount for the guided tour, united are only interested in profit then taking it out of the country back to the states, where city pump there money into the local community.
tell me what's bad about paying for a sixth form collage and a state of the art training complex, to be built and used by the locals. united do nowt.
and yes they are creating jobs they have a jobs fair at the ground on the 21st of Feb, in partnership with the job center and Manchester council, check if you don't believe me.

well if you are upset with a guy who is going about his lawful business, and dares to confront your beloved arab owners perhaps should get together your dossier on his nefarious activities and present them to the authorities. of course all bile and veiled threats seem to be coming from the fact he claims to be a man utd supporter.i'm sure citys legal team will be working overtime to resolve this issue without your help.
