yeah that would never happen if city wanted to buy a player from another club would it,an organisation as powerful as the arabs by hook or by crook will find a way around this problem a few bungs here and there can speed up the wheels of local gov no end. after all he isn't breaking any law. just a case of supply and demand,of course they could wait till he is served with a c p o which isn't really unusual,as for creating more jobs for locals i would take that with a pinch of salt most of the workforce on civil eng sites all over the country are eastern europeans.
jsorry about the double post guys.(nice to get my point across twice)
you don't have a clue,
city do loads for the community, part of my job is getting mentally ill patients out in the community, I contacted city to see if they could do anything to help, they gave us a guided tour of the ground and merchandise all free of charge, then they offered us a free training session one afternoon a month at carrington for half a dozen patients and staff with there youth coaches,
i also contacted united they wouldn't help one bit not even a discount for the guided tour, united are only interested in profit then taking it out of the country back to the states, where city pump there money into the local community.
tell me what's bad about paying for a sixth form collage and a state of the art training complex, to be built and used by the locals. united do nowt.
and yes they are creating jobs they have a jobs fair at the ground on the 21st of Feb, in partnership with the job center and Manchester council, check if you don't believe me.

Reason: double post
I read this today and it has really pi$$ed me off, the land is wanted to build a new sixth form collage, and it will create 250 new jobs,
he's even admitted he wants "pay back" for the 6-1 drubbing we gave them at sold Trafford, and I bet most of the united fans who buy these plots of land wont even live in Manchester,
if anywhere needs investment it's east Manchester, how would united fans feel if city fans tried to stop building work in there home town of east London,
anyway, any numpty united fans who buys into this will get there fingers burnt, the land is probably only worth about 100k, and when it goes to the government for a CPO, they will get next to nothing back.
he calls himself a Mancunian, well he should act like one, and see the benefit this will bring to the city. and they have the cheek to call us bitter.
Glory hunters hmmm so when was this thread started
Eh I'm from Manchester how many reds on here can say that.
I haven't posted on here before coz I'm on other blue forums.
now go and and eat some jellied eels
Not when all the Chavski fans start supporting city which will be soon
noooo, there's enough cockneys in Manchester when United are playing at home already.
as the saying goes, Manchester United supporters have been United supporters from the moment they stopped being Chelsea supporters.
DO YOU COME FROM MANCHESTER ?
DO YOU HAVE RELATIVES IN MANCHESTER ?
DO YOU LIVE NEAR MANCHESTER ?
If you say NO to these three questions, you are an ideal person to become a fan of MANCHESTER UNITED
Yes, this is your big chance to join the ever-growing army of glory hunters who can be seen around the country in the colours of The dung. To join the newly-formed club, simply send in a map with a cross marking where you think the city of Manchester is. In the unlikely event of there being two correct entries and thus a tie, fill in the tie-break question at the bottom of the page.
* YOU COULD WIN *

THIRD PRIZE: A complete supply of Manchester United programmes from the games that you have attended. Both will be sent in the same envelope.
Tie Breaker ( in no more than 12 words )
I feel it necessary to follow a football team that I have absolutely no connection with because: .................................................. .................... .................................................. ....................

As this page is about Manchester United and their supporters who are incredibly stupid I would like to point out that the above competition is a joke and should not be taken seriously!!
when you take into account last year they posted a loss of ?197m, and wages of ?174m, there still on track.
And there's a lot more to come yet, they have put in a proposal to Manchester council to buy the stadium outright, and increase the ground capacity to 75k by building a third tier,
then there's the new Etihad Campus training facility, a ?600 million investment at Manchester Airport creating a British hub for Etihad Airways and 100 new jobs,
at the rate of investment there putting into Manchester as a whole, and the regeneration of east Manchester, the council are bending over backwards to keep the owners happy, so I can see the proposals going ahead
.
still early days yet, there looking at another 5 years, to near completion of there overall project. happy days
That stadiums going to look a bit ~~~~in daft with 30 thousand in it looks bad enough now
