This ability to buy new players will give success but unless it's built from the ground up then it's liable to collapse. See you build a club very much like you do a house from strong foundations so that it can stand up on it's own. Chelsea have watched another side win 4 titles in 5 years now that really would stick in my throat
You could say as United fans been there seen it done it weve even got the t-shirt man

it has gone silent here I hope I have not tumbleweeded the thread
Darron Gibson eh i see ferguson in his interview say "its all part of the plan" hahahaha

Your going to want winning this league this time round really as the FFP rule might derail that transfer budget by a fair bit.

Imagine that Man United could have the largest budget available to spend based on income and we will be buying the league again which if my memory serves is something City fans are fair against.

The money coming in from Etihad rightly or wrongly will help City's cause Uefa havn't investigated the deal so City will still have money. Besides Utd will need to pay back a major chunk of the debt they have before they go on a big spending spree

Everton were so peed off about Lescot's clearance being over the line, that they took matters in the their own hands by appointing their own goal-line observer.

Exactly mate. There is going to be a lot of twists and turns before this season is over with.

                          Dzeko can't play with Aguero.
I can see the former being sold in the summer as his contribution and workrate most of the time is pathetic.

Problem now is that the lower teams are 'parking the bus' in their own half to stop us scoring and we currently don't have the skill to grind these tactics down. Yaya is immense in the midfield role but to fall apart because he is missing is ridiculous.
Mancini is too defensively minded and seems incapable of grinding out a win.

The FA stitching up Balotelli certainly didn't help and neither do the refs at the moment. Rough up tactics by other teams not punished yet we do it and instant yellow. Silva got kicked in the air at one spell last night and nothing said.
Neville's block last night was far far worse than what Micah did last week but no penalty either???

not at all, we've had our blip now like all teams go through,
and in the next 4 weeks united have to play, Chelsea, Liverpool, and Spurs, not to mention, 2 legs against Ajax in between those.
don't get carried away by beating Stoke at home.

ROBERTO MANCINI is facing a revolt that could derail Manchester City?s title chances.

The Blues boss is on a collision course with senior players and staff over a charity match in Italy next week.

The Premier League leaders have agreed to field a side against a combined Sampdoria and Genoa XI to raise cash for victims of the flash floods that struck northern Italy in November.

Mancini was expected to take a side made-up of fringe stars and youth team players for the game on Wednesday.

But he has stunned his squad and coaching staff by telling them he will pick a number of first teamers for the trip ? just four days before the crunch league clash at Aston Villa.

Starsport understands Mancini?s decision has caused uproar in the dressing-room.

Mancini has spent the past few weeks complaining about his squad being pushed to the limit by injuries, suspensions and players being away on international duty.

A club source said: ?The players are livid. One minute the manager is all doom-and-gloom about suspensions and injuries, but now we have to fly to Italy for a charity game.

?Some of the players are going to put their views across. But they fear their protests will fall on deaf ears because they feel Mancini does not communicate with them.

?One member of the backroom staff has already decided not to travel.?

                                --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

FFS bobby, what are you playing at?
Shove Tevez in the team and have the 2nd string make up the rest.
