Sir Alex Ferguson in 1988
"This isn't just a job to me." "It's a mission. I am deadly serious about it. Some people would reckon too serious. We will get there, believe me. And when it happens, life will change for Liverpool and everyone else - dramatically."
Sir Alex Ferguson.

And your point is?

THE TRUTH
The Hillsborough Independent Panel. 12/09/12
Today's report is black and white. The Liverpool fans were not the cause of the disaster.
The panel has quite simply found 'no evidence' in support of allegations of 'exceptional levels of drunkenness, ticketlessness or violence among Liverpool fans' and 'no evidence that fans had conspired to arrive late at the stadium' and 'no evidence that they stole from the dead and dying'.Comment

Bulldog you should be commended for your defense of Kenny Daglish But you need a dose of reality. Kenny needed to go. His signing were really bad and his tactics were horrible this year. I'm sure the owners gave him a choice out of respect but he refused. So instead of a pistol ahe got the firing squad.Comment

So what will you say if the signings come good next season?

below is the pic of liverpools new manager
well versed in the art surviving on meagre rations
used to hostile environments
plenty of experience of being in the wilderness
this is after the first team building exercise following a spat on the golf course with craig bellamy regarding which iron he should use.Comment

I have no affinity to any English club.
He clearly loves Liverpool. The best British team I have seen in my lifetime. In all honesty they have fallen so far behind other teams in terms of consistency long before he arrived that he was almost certain to fail in his first full season.
The greatest player I have ever seen in my Lifetime from this country. He truly was god like. I should probably not say that as I am a Rangers man and he played and managed the other half.
I wish him all the best - genius as a footballer. Good luck KK. The biggest compliment I can pay him is that he was as good a player as Ferguson is a manager.Last edited by bugaloo41; 18 May, 2012, 20:48.Comment

Well if they got rid of a Legend like Dalglish then O'neil would have had to have finished top 4 @ least to get another chance.
And lets face it what has O'neil really done apart from a uefa cup final which he lost and the odd cup down south.

Finished 6th twice with a villa side that were no where near the same talent of this Liverpool side that has finished 8th. Won the league cup with a small provincial side when the league cup was taken more seriously by the big clubs. He would have finished in top 4 with Liverpool. I don't think Liverpool would have finished 8th this season under MON..Last edited by mattybhoy; 19 May, 2012, 14:02.Comment
