Can't see this myself as the policing and security, staff wages etc all have to come off gate money first then split, hence the row about Dundee united not getting last seasons money. In football terms is quite a small amount 30k and that was full price tickets. As for the SPL I think it's the club that want to hit back at the SPL. Purely because of the handling of this from start to finish was a joke.
Being a non old firm supporter, I need to add that Rangers fans voted that they wanted to start off at the bottom tier and they are doing the right thing and still supporting the club through a dark period.Last edited by polt; 25 August, 2012, 23:51.Comment

I think you'll find it was Murray who did most of the damege with the Ebt crapEvery Rangers fan knows that the club should be punished for what craig whyte did regardless of his intentions which as it turned out were pretty obvious by what he let happen to Rangers.
Pretty much proves what we've been saying about Gers fans.For me this is 1 of the reasons a lot of Rangers fans would lose no sleep if any other SPL club found itself in dire straits now and frankly i would lose no sleep over it either especially for the majority of the fans who wanted Rangers out the game, and i would advocate an away ban on the SPL clubs that didn't want Rangers and thats not because i want them out the game like they wanted for Rangers but because if they don't want us then fine .Comment

@op,, for what its worth, depends on the cup.
the 3 cups have slighlty differnet rules. 1 of which the 'mighty' SPL teams will not play in.
for what its worth, the home team can set the gate price to whatever they want. only certain season books include the tickets, so theres plenty paid ones to laugh at . we will get near 50,000 every week anyway so one or possibly two games against SPL opposition wont harm the finances as we will rake it back in through programme sales anywayComment

one more point,, its not rangers 'want' SPL teams to go under.. its a certainty.
last year two teams couldnt pay there players when we owed them approx 80k.
the SPL has just paid them less than HALF of there season money,, watch this space... see some of you in division 1 in two years.. and we will still be boycotting ya hahahaComment

disagree cant see a club who have acted with such dignity behaving in such a way, a club with no history of cheating other clubs out of money wouldnt start now.Comment

How many times do you lot need to be told the EBT's have not been proved to be illegal, and they were not when being used, and again the SPL/SFA allowed these to be used for 10 years ? strange if they were illegal at that time thats even more important.
Also it was not Murray that put Rangers into liquidation it was 1 man and his mates from duff n phelps who had this in mind all along Murray was paying his way up until he was forced to sell to that shyster whyte.
No doubt it will fall on deaf ears as usual as the same old rubbish gets trawled out about EBT's etc etc etc change the record or don't bother posting the same drivel because its a nap threads will get shut down because of the same rubbish being constantly posted about EBT's.
