We shall see how it pans out but I suspect a few more twists and turns before the end.

Michael Owen will be itching to get the famous red shirt on i think he still needs 4 games to qualify for a title medal should Utd win it
michael owen will never wear the real red shirt again!!!

Chelsea are my biggest concern arsenal never have been as i can see us dropping a few points in the run in. We are IMO the worst squad we have had in 5 years it needs major investment for next year whether we have the kind of cash to revamp our midfield is another matter a proven keeper is a must also i havent seen enough of lindegaard to make me think he can replace vds

We have 8 games left 8 wins will guarantee it realistically its not very likely we have some big games to come in an ideal world i would like to see us win our next 3 games starting away to west ham which wont be easy they have much improved and our away form is awful

Hopefully arsenal and especially chelsea will drop points before we meet up it is in my eyes imperative we at least get a draw against chelsea because i can see them going on a winning streak from now until the season ends as long as they dont beat us i think we will be ok

our record against them lately though is very poor but they are my biggest concern i would take going out of europe to them for 3 points in the league against them right now if i could

A bit late on this one as I aint been around for a few days. Got to agree with that mate. I had a number of post removed there - nothing offensive at all, though it was getting 'tit for tat' which was started by another 'classy post'.... Nothing wrong with banter as long as it doesn't go too far.

What amazers me is that some members go onto others threads with one intention - to wind up (which is fine), but they same members dunni like it when anyone goes on there thread to give some back...

matt left an ageing team that was only going one way i think ferguson is looking to the future a bit more

Busby made utd the biggest club in the land regardless of trophys won after he left his legacy will last forever

Shankly himself said busby was the greatest manager ever however he left at the top and the team was needing another rebuild which he either didnt want or couldnt do and the demise started

much the same as the saviour dalglish soon as he realised his team needed a full re-jig he got out and left the other guys like souness and evans be the fall guys

too much pressure he said il give him his due he was a clever man and knew he was going to struggle building a new team and didnt want to lose any face in front of the kop

funny how he feels he can go back now he has nothing to lose and still be "king kenny"

yeah he might be "king kenny" but remember it was king kenny who started your downfall for the last 20 years when he deserted a sinking ship

                cant lose now can he?

Dalglish left because of the stress he suffered at Hillsborough, he stayed on longer than he should have through loyalty towards the club and it's fans. Anyone who was around at the time and followed football could see how much he had aged in the time following Hillsborough.
He never ~~~~ed off because the going got tough as you insinuate. Notthat you probably have but anyone else who has read his autobiography will confirm this. To us he will always be the king, both as the greatest player to play for us but also as a man who put Liverpool fc before his family. We never forgot and never will.

                  THE TRUTH
                  The Hillsborough Independent Panel. 12/09/12

Today's report is black and white. The Liverpool fans were not the cause of the disaster.
The panel has quite simply found 'no evidence' in support of allegations of 'exceptional levels of drunkenness, ticketlessness or violence among Liverpool fans' and 'no evidence that fans had conspired to arrive late at the stadium' and 'no evidence that they stole from the dead and dying'.

we will have to agree to disagree on that one m8 whilst i dont doubt that there may be some truth in that i know his public reasons for leaving

but he is hardly going to admit it is he?

I think dalglish had a good inkling that he was going to need a major rebuild and maybe a few barren seasons at anfield to get things right and i dont think he wanted to let his good name be tarnished as the man who ended liverpools golden era better leave that to souness

didnt take too long to find another job did he after all?

cant blame him really he was a god at anfield and left with his reputation in tact as a hero

now he is back as a hero again in a no lose scenario
