My point is that LFC are now well on their way to emulate what United failed to do in the years 67-92..
ie: fail to win the top division league title,
And the way things are going down your way you guys will achieve this in 4 years time.
Anyone thinking otherwise is a dreamer.Last edited by Walkinmyshadow; 1 October, 2010, 15:02.Comment

oh and btw its a manu thread , not premiership thread.
so in the last 20 years we have been to 2 cl finals, uefa cup final, fa cups and l/cups.. never been relegated etc... how does that compare to your 25 years????YNWA..Comment

In the "lean years ie: between '67 and '92,
We picked up a European cup in 68.. a cup winners cup, 4 fa cups, and a league cup, and the odd charity shield and uefa super cup,
But it's still considered lean years as we failed to win the 1st division title,
which is/should be the ambition of clubs the like of LFC and MUFC at the start of every season.
This lean spell is what LFC is going through now!!
And unlike a lot of the plastics i know what you are going through, as im old enough to remember a large portion of those years.
But for you Lfc supporters who believe that the last 2 decades have been in some way successful, then i admire your optimism.Comment
