jeez it was 1969 when Sir Matt retired... goalies were wearing flat caps, and fried brekkies and a few ciggies were the norm on the morning before a game.
With the money that MUFC generates worldwide, theres no way the club will be allowed to slip into mediocrity.. not a chance.
Yes there might be a dip, like when jose won 2 titles on the bounce with chelsea, all you guys were forecasting the end for MUFC
What happened?? we bounced back with 3 titles in successive years.. along with a little matter of a Champions league trophy aswell.
So predict doom and gloom for MUFC all you want.. anyone with a half a brain knows it's only wishfull thinking on your part.

never said you would dip into mediocrity..but are we ?? granted ,had a bad year last season, but hardly panic stations... 12 months before ,we were 2nd...!!
cigs, beer, etc....was not that was the same for ALL clubs.... you ,us, etc... so an even playing field then? money cannot buy success... ask tommy doc, ofarrell etc... it took 26 years for you to win the league again... remember alan hansen... "you dont win things with kids"??? soft sod.... but that side cost peanuts...money??? give me some, please....
lets face it, do you really expect us to be relegated? you would love it, as i would love you to be. but , realistically????

I honestly think Rooney will end up at Arsenal.

                    Just my opinion...

10am meeting today it gets "put to bed" apparantly

what is certain is rooneys excuse yesterday to leave was absolute bollox the club cannot match his ambition blah blah blah

so i wonder where he will go city or real look most likely and both won nothing last year for the ambitious rooney

i wonder if we buy some top stars in january that he might stay

i really hope that after todays meeting he is not involved with the first team and is left in the cold until he is sold i dont want the door leaving open for him either he can just go anywhere

one thing i dont understand though is how the ambitious rooney is going to get in anyones team after his woeful 7-8 months after all if you have money to spend unlike us you would get shot

this season tevez is doing better than him, chelsea are doing fine and real are doing ok without him too

makes you wonder if he fills his ambitions and signs for a club who can afford to buy players whether he will get in the team after all before we lost ronaldo and tevez he was played on the left more than not especially in big games

them actually leaving and antonio valencias contribution to his goals helped wayne to elevate his game to another level and also get him a central spot up front

so where does that leave him?

There is a rumour that Luis Suarez from Ajax might change Rooney. Anyway here are regards for him from the last night match...
