I still don't completely understand why Van der Sar is hanging up his gloves at the end of the season,
He's still one of the top keepers in the league, rarely makes a mistake, and had huge presence in the box.
I always was led to believe that top footballers played till they thought they couldnt cut it at the hightest level any more..
I know hes on record saying he wants to spend time with his family, which you have to respect, but he could easily play for another year.

Van der sar has served United well, Of course he has a year or two left in him, maybe more but he feels its the time to retire,
Im just wondering who will replace him? Who is on the market come summer?
