Now if I recall in January, Taggart was blowing smoke up Adam's arse saying, and I quote..

"We couldn't handle Charlie Adam. His corners alone are worth ?10m"

"He brought Charlie Adam down from Glasgow when nobody seemed to want him and he is one of the best players in the league"

In fact only on the 17 June there were reports of "Ferguson wants Adam at any cost"..

But of course now he's signed for Liverpool.. He's shit

I heard him say about the corner alone. If you watched the full interview like I have you would tell the whole part, LFC was in for Adam and Blackpool turned your offer down, SAF said he was worth 10 million to up the price! Then SAF says about Holloway everytime they speak together about a player from UTD going to Blackpool, they want them cheap or free on loan due to no funds.
SAF was never in for Adam, just gets LFC to pay over the odds

and good on him.

Personally I'd take it as a complement, he is obviously a huge admirer Man Utd, but then again 99% of professional footballers are.
How the dippers take it i dont know.. they are a fickle lot.
I think lfc was the best club Adam's could have hope for, he's not a top 4 club player, and i think lfc is the best or there abouts of a bad lot.

if you read my posts in our thread when we were supposedly the favourites to sign him

you will see it has nothing do do with you lot its just fact

he is a decent squad player at best he is far too wasteful for top level football but then again its been a few years since you lot were anywhere near top level so i suppose he may fit in ok

now they are crowing cos they got a player that finds a teamate once in 3 goes

sorry to see john oshea leave the club i didnt think he would have tbh

while not blessed with being the best at any position he played he always got on with it head down and tried his best, he was a very good servant to the club and a valuable squad player who will be missed

UTD was never even in for Adam, stop trying to add lies in to the Adam story, he went to who wanted him and it wasn't the Champions.
