Edwin van der Sar has revealed details of his testimonial on Wednesday to ManUtd.com.
A Dream Team managed by Sir Alex and Rene Meulensteen will face Ajax as part of a bumper evening of entertainment at the Amsterdam ArenA, which is being screened live on MUTV, with several United first-teamers due to turn out for their former colleague.
Rio Ferdinand, Nemanja Vidic, Michael Carrick, Ryan Giggs and Wayne Rooney are all in the squad along with former Reds Gary Neville and Louis Saha.
An Under-13s match between Ajax and United will kick things off - with Edwin's son Joe set to play for the young Reds - before the famous European Cup-winning Ajax team of 1995 tackles the Dutch World Cup side of 1998 with Edgar Davids, Marc Overmars, Jaap Stam and Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink all pencilled in for appearances.
Then comes the main event before the popular keeper is given a proper send-off by the 52,000 fans in the stadium after his distinguished service to the game.
"Hopefully it'll be a great night," van der Sar told ManUtd.com. "It's a chance for fans to see some top players and some of the current up-and-coming stars for Ajax.
"It's 12 years since I left Ajax, so I'm really looking forward to going back and seeing old friends. I'm grateful for their support with the event. This is the perfect way to say goodbye.

have you seen the teams that we have put out for these games?? they do not mean a thing in terms of next season ,apart from fitness and trying to learn one another.. no suarez, no lucas, no stevie, no pepe,no skirtel etc... lets wait and see... end of september!!
