Ill give you a serious answer as to why Sneijder is not a Utd player (yet ??).
If his wages are the stumbling block (which it seems so) then we as a club have a salary cap ! Simple really he may have to take a pay cut or get to ****, I for one agree with the clubs stance especially given whats in our youth system. We simply cant allow what's essentially our cash to be bandied about like it grows on tree's. If Sneijder has the wish to play for us then he will cave in and come but if his desire is more financial than football then we've just dodged a bullet in my opinion.
All that said I have a feeling this transfer saga may not be over just yet

i agree it seems like a few weeks ago fergson shot it down then gill said there may be developments then this week we hear sneijder himself say they have been unnoficial talks then all of a sudden fergies says we dont want him again

IMO for what its worth it seems we are still interested but we are not being held to ransom fergie has also made a point of mentioning cleverley and pogba as if to say we are ok

to me it seems like it is poker and we are interested but not at the prices they want will either party take the required drop in the next 25 days or whatevr who knows but i do believe we are definately still in the hunt it is just down to either milans price his wages or both and this denial is possibly i tool to lower the price

Sorry to have upset you m8 no malice intended. Reason why i posted your quote in our thread i dont understand why a united fan would hope the pool would deliver this season.

No malice taken leothelion, I never said I'd like LFC to deliver, I mentioned how much Ken nee has spent on his team so far, lets face it he is only at LFC to stabilise the fans after Roy, he hasn't managed in donkey years and it shows, they should of got an emerging modern manager to revitalise the club, not drag it back to the past. The fans will never turn on him so he will be their for a while.
Sunderland gave them space in the first half, second half Sunderland began closing them down and LFC did not know what to do, top four club, never! 6th or 7th.

well what can i say we were great for about 30 mins i was impressed by the way we moved the ball about in the final 3rd we looked very sharp

                  then

dracula de gea let in a daisy cutter and we seemed to lose the plot and in the end a point was not really deserved

positives its an away win after last seasons dross the players looked very good for about a half hour

negatives 2 centre halfs going off and a keeper who doesnt like crosses or shots for that matter and looks to be having a bit of a mare

question is what does fergie do???

play him more and hope he gets through it with a mental toughness and attitude hoping he doesnt make another clanger next week because if he does it could be the end as quick as its become

or play lindegard and take the heat off him for a few weeks until he gets used to england and language at least

i wrote on this thread earlier that i thought fergie would have started the season with lindegard and eased de gea in but he has thrown him in at the deep end

personally i would take him away from the limelight united is massive his price tag is big he is a young kid you have nowhere to hide in goal another mistake like today may never see him recover enough to play for us again

we were lucky it didnt cost us and he looked nervy all game

We play De Gea it's a no brainer, he looks short on confidence and coming into a defense containing players such as Vidic and Rio must be alarming for a lad of 20. We knew all this when he signed and if worst comes to worst we have some solid backup in Lindegaard. De Gea will need a few years before he matures into a top class relaxed keeper and until then we need to stick by him. I reckon he could have himself one great performance (very capable) and then settle himself down. This is a tough time for him right now but we have the win and were off and running which is important.

one or two snide comments about de geah in pool thread,so what we got the three points they dropped two at home you could argue was suarez fault, after all so called topclass striker misses a sitter and his team lose two points as a consequence.so it turns out on the day his miss was more damaging to liverpool than de geah's mistake was to utd i think they are more pi##ed off by that fact!

Oh dear, the only comments about the keeper were by me. I stand by what i said, most of you will agree it wasn't a snide comment but an observation.

He's no Schmeical is he ? infact he's looking really dodgy. Long may he continue in goal

                            THE TRUTH
                            The Hillsborough Independent Panel. 12/09/12

Today's report is black and white. The Liverpool fans were not the cause of the disaster.
The panel has quite simply found 'no evidence' in support of allegations of 'exceptional levels of drunkenness, ticketlessness or violence among Liverpool fans' and 'no evidence that fans had conspired to arrive late at the stadium' and 'no evidence that they stole from the dead and dying'.

by that answer i take you must disagree then?...so u didnt drop two points then? because that was my argument coz after all we seem to have won an away game, and u lot dropped two points at fortress anfield fact.
