Yes, and he was turned in by fellow United fans - hopefully the media will report that.

Good on that one united fan for repoting this, 1000's there but it takes a big man to stand up and say something is wrong.

others would have most probably just sat there had he not jumped in and stood up to him.

so well done to that united fan, racism has no place in football on or off the pitch.

Well done indeed and gladly he was arrseted and if found guilty he should be banned from all grounds for life.
Good to see an incident like this dealt with and not totally ignored by the spectators around him.

well it was only one person that highlighted this to the stewards as the article says. wonder how many fans heard it but did nothing or thought nothing of it?

but i think we all agree its good atleast one person had the balls to stand up to him and not just follow the crowd.

                well done him

De gea or not De Gea that is the question

Sir Alex Ferguson admits he faces a quandary over whether to play David de Gea in goal against Chelsea - Telegraph

Likely team for the match tomorrow

                  --------------------De Gea/Amos---------------------

                  --Rafael-------Ferdinand----Evans/Smalling------Evra--

                  -----------Carrick------------------------------------
                  -----------------------------Giggs--------------------
                  --Valencia--------------------------------------Nani--
                  ------------------Rooney-----------------------------
                  -------------------------Wellbeck---------------------

I wonder will risk putting De Gea in as another bad display could totally destroy the lad. Amos did ok midweek so leaves the manager with a decision.
Rumours from the Bridge are that both Lampard and Terry will be out so you can expect them to start.
Chelsea still without Drogba so Torres will likely start but I think the danger man here will be Mata.

                  -------------------------Cech-------------------------
                  --Ivanovic----------Luiz------Cahill------------Bertrand
                  ------------------------Romeu------------------------
                  -------------Essien-----------------Meireles-----------
                  --Sturridge--------------Torres-------------------Mata

No Ashley Cole due to suspension so Bertrand will likely start for the chavs, Nani (if fit) and Valencia could give him a bad afternoon. All in all if they set up like this then expect to see goals and i think Chelsea need to assert some confidence back into the squad and so will go for 3 points.

We should set up for counter attack here although confident that if we turn up we can beat them i would take a draw as our record at the bridge is ~~~~in awful.

All this said remember this fixture last year ?

Met Office: London & South East England: severe weather warnings

                  Chavs might call this off

                        The Hillsborough Independent Panel. 12/09/12

Today's report is black and white. The Liverpool fans were not the cause of the disaster.
The panel has quite simply found 'no evidence' in support of allegations of 'exceptional levels of drunkenness, ticketlessness or violence among Liverpool fans' and 'no evidence that fans had conspired to arrive late at the stadium' and 'no evidence that they stole from the dead and dying'.

Then you wonder why no one takes any notice of your football "knowledge" it's a bit like John Terry's pace.

Personally feel If Terry plays it will be a bonus for us his none existant pace would get exploited badly. Also Lampard missing would boost Chelsea as Romeu and Meireles are both more mobile and be able to create space for the impressive Mata.

Other than that our goalkeeping position could undermine anything we set out to do on the day but if that's the case then so be it we will still be in a great position defend our title. Hard work replacing one of the leagues best keepers in VDS and another stretch of bad luck with Anders injury but **** me we have had a terrible run injury wise so it really does not surprise me anymore.
