Poor game Andy,,we deserved the win we should have being a couple up in the first half heading over for the pool game on friday we have tickets for the kop end same seats as the last time.

We had a make shift back four for the first game off the season, Rio Ferdinand, Phil Jones, Chris Smalling and Jonny Evans were all injured and Vidic's first game back from his injury from December 2011.

Nemanja Vidic: Manchester United defender has knee surgery

Manchester United captain Nemanja Vidic has been ruled out for eight weeks following a knee operation.

Vidic missed Sunday's Premier League win at Liverpool after complaining of tightness in his right knee.

However, further tests revealed the problem to be more severe than initially expected and the centre-back was forced to undergo surgery.

Apart from Rooney all our players are getting injured while training or even warming up! Least we got Evans as cover and him and Rio have been playing great together. Smalling should be back training next month and we got an international break coming up which will help us.
Same knee but different area than when he was out last season, so we havn't rushed him back.

Only watched saturday's game today no were to be seen in the first half spurs tore us apart second half different game deserved at least a point or maybe 3.

don't really see much difference on last year main problem
midfield is the main problem apart from injured defence but i think this is squad is going to do really well this year
