Boxing is much the best cause they punch more. UFC was great when it didn't have a weight class and anyone can fight anyone but even then and now it's really a wrestling match cause 90% of the winners are able to grapple. So that is why boxing is a better sport since i don't want to see grown men rolling on the ground

I kind of agree there, I used to watch boxing all the time till UFC hit the screens, now I watch that every fight week, and follow Dana on twitter.

I changed when I watched a match not too long back, when both parties didnt want, and just tiptoed round each other for rounds and rounds.
For instance the David Haye Vs Audley Harrison was a complete joke, I'm glad I didn't have to spend the money to watch it (legit)
But for a grappler on UFC it's easy to win rounds by taking it to the ground (unless your opponant has unbelievable take down defence). It's easy to ground and pound, and not pleasing on the eye as striking has.

But out of the two, I would err on the side of UFC for entertainment, as there is more ways to knock an opponant out.

            Just MHO I might add.

^^^^ This if you want striking action.

As several people have pointed out UFC is a brand, MMA is the sport.

People who says that its two guys rolling around on the floor havn't good a clue. Its incredibly technical, no doubt there are the lay and pray guys out there but there are standup rules (not always correctly applies) to keep fights moving.

Comparing the skills in MMA vs boxing is comparing apples and oranges. There are very few good boxers in MMA, even top strikers like JDS or Nog brothers (who train with Cuban olympic boxing team) would be considered average in boxing so of course any bout fought under boxing rules would favour the boxer. Vice versa, I am not aware of any boxer who train MMA so of course they would get beat. Mayweather, Hyde and many boxers have all said the same thing.

As for the cards, personally I would say there is more

See as Pacman has probably never trained takedown defence or against kicking or grappling that would put him at a serious disadvantage.

At the end of the day, enjoy the fights regardless of the sport.
