Who would you say your biggest rivals are kianniamh, Newcastle?
Juninho in my opinion overrated, not a patch on Emmerson for all round play, plus he couldn't kick a ball more than 6 yards.

Newcastle probably edge it even though Sunderland is closer, don't think Newcastle see it the same way as we are small fry.

Agree with you on Pearson he was a class act and a grunt was usually enough to put most strikers off, its a shame Pallister came back after he had given his best days to Man Utd or he might have made my list.

I would have to say for the " Real Reds "

      1/ George Best
      2/ Paul Scholes
      3/ Dennis Irwiin

      1/ Shay Given
      2/ Ian Rush
      3/ Dennis Bergkamp

Yes I did see George Best play, it was Sir Matt Busby's testimonial,it was a 7 aside against an old Man City team, George still had the touch, ~~~~ing amazing.
Scholesie is an unsung hero for United and England.
Irwin never put a foot wrong and could also whack in a good free kick.

Dont worry bout that happening, i doubt any proper bolton fan would have diouffy in their top 20 let alone their top 3, he was ok at bolton but now hes joined the dingles im not his biggest fan! We're not the biggest of clubs but we've had some class acts at burnden and also at the reebok. Kevin Davies could well have made that list along with John Mcginlay, Jussi Jaaskelainen, Andy Walker.......

Over the years the best I ever seen was George Best, in this country. The only player who reminds me of him is Messi, but Best played when defenders kicked lumps out of the attackers, and was rarely injured. There are too many for second and third.

Slightly before my time there Boomer, my dad would probably agree with you on that one though. Many quality players graced Burnden Park even in my time.

                        Picking just 3 is difficult!!

All at the end of their careers (30th April 1989 Celtic park)
                        Barnes , Rush (same game)

                        In their Prime

                              Chippy Brady (sweet left foot)
