It's as clear as day that Diouf will not have a career in Scotland it's debatable if his career can continue anywhere in the world due to his lack of discipline. Rangers got it badly wrong with Diouf, bringing such a volatile character into the pressure cooker of the SPL was very poor judgement especially given his past. On top of that he is an average player now at best, and tends to focus on frustration rather than playing football. Bad move by Smith and the Rangers board in my opinion.

Skegs, Like virtually the rest of the world I can't stand the horrible charactor, but at present I'm quite happy that Rangers have taken him on.

In signing him it sent a message to Celtic that they were at the stage where they are willing to try virtually anything.. It also I think sent the message to there own players that Rangers management team didn't think there current squad of players were good enough to win trophies.

On top of all this he looks (like I've said before) I divisive influence in the Rangers dressing room. Would Rangers have lost the plot like they did in midweek if he wasn't there? They haven't lost the plot like that since the days of MON.

Aye saw that mate.

The events of Wednesday night seemed to have 'kicked off' when Diouf put his shoulder into the Celtic physio when he was running on the pitch to treat Easy. From there the Celtic physio stopped and turned around to Diouf and a breif exchange took place. Then Diouf ran 50 yards to confront the Celtic bench. Lennon went to the touch to confront him also. That's when it all kicked off with the benches and McCoist lost it and went over to the Celtic bench (which seems to have been forgotten in the Scottish media).

At half time I could see that Diouf was having a go again, but when I've watched it back on TV it seems that he's shouting at Brown as they were leaving the pitch. Browns walked up the tunnel and Mjallby stud bewteen him and Diouf - another exchange to place. Then Barkly and Mjallby were having a go!

So Diouf as had a go with the Celtic physio, ran 50 yard to have a go with the Celtic bench, then had a go with Brown and then Mjallby. All up to half time!

What went on between Lennon and McCoist doesn't look good, but would it have happened if it wasn't for the actions of Diouf!???

Apparently Diouf received a second red card on Sunday, the other one for throwing his shirt into the crowd it is also alleged the sfa are to bring a charge of disrepute against him and therefore carry over into spl games.
