Michael Owen is Welsh and he played for England. jones was about nineteen when he made his debut and about twenty five when he moved on after shin splint and back problems. If it wasn't for his injury problems he would, have been first choice for England.

John oshea is better at right back and centre half than carragher he played in both positions because he wasnt good enough to hold down either just like john o shea he also overlooked for england because he is not good enough yes he is committed has a good heart and can muster a last gasp tackle now and again but as defenders go he is bog standard

probably because he decided that, even though he and we know he was better than those 3, sod it why even bother....but he still plays for us.. and that is all i am bothered about.

Anyway on to gary nev a bit late but i have to say that he was the best right back of his generation limited in a few respects but as an all rounder i can not think of any better good reader of the game doesnt have the pace or skill of an evra but made up for it in other ways excellent defender superb on the overlap good in the air for a midget
