Sam, come on mate. You are the one who always says it's not to do with money.. & if you are saying that it is now, look at Rangers and Celtic net spend this season. Rangers have spent more (remember Celtic sold McGeady & Boric). Also look at the two teams yesterday. Watty's summer signing Jelavic (?4m) cost more than 9 of Celtic's starting line up;-

        Forster, loan, free
        Izaguirre, ?580k
        Majstorovic, free
        Wilson, ?500k
        Mulgrew, free
        Ledley, free
        Commons, ?300k
        Kayal, ?1.2m
        Samaras, ?1.2m
Celtic only featured two players who cost more than ?1.2m, Brown (?4.4m) and Hooper (?2.5m), but seven of those who played for Rangers cost more than this - Whittaker, Bougherra, Edu, Davis, Naismith, Lafferty and Jelavic. Rangers remain by far the most expensively assembled team in Scottish football. So saying the bank is costing Rangers is far from correct.

So with money not being an excuse... I would agree that Smith's negative tactics don't always help, but the same tactics have won the last 2 spl's and he's been lauded by many (including you - "Sir Walter") for it.

Nothing is won or lost yet. But praise should be given to Lennon. I remember you and a few Rangers fans on here scoffing at his appointment at the start of the season. If Celtic end up winning nothing this season at least he's brought pride back to the club and dare I say it.."the thunder" is back.

Atmosphere on Sunday was great Skegs, best it's been for years. All the stadium (bar that lot of course) doing Just can't get enough & The Huddle. And we've not mentioned how we thoroughly outplayed them.

                A special day.

Lennon and the backroom team have brought back a togetherness back to the squad and is spreading fast right throughout the whole club. That fact that we are winning is great but its the manner in which we are doing it.

Rangers for the past few seasons had a strong unit, didn?t play the best football but managed to get results. But now the free flowing attacking football is just too much for teams in the spl.

Nothing is won yet but Lennon an Co have done them selves and the club proud.

The Green Brigade also deserve a lot of credit, they have brought the atmosphere back, easy now the team is playing great football, but still they come up with the ideas and songs and all in the name of fun its a great place to be at the minute, everyone wants a ticket now they are like hotcakes.

Round 5 of the Glasgow derby. How do people think it will go? I've got a feeling it could be heading for extra time... hope it doesn't go to pens, I wont be able to take it! Plus McGregor has a good record of saving pens.
