probably.had a few lucky escapes in my time,5yr old 1960 hit by a fire engine,no sirene in those days,bus involved again,i ran out behind it,but that i cant remember actualy being hit,knocked 20 ft in air in comma for 3 weeks,1970 hit by a sandstone house at 40 mph on a bike,well other way around,i was going down big hill feet going 10 to the dozen,got to bottom bike would not turn,so house came at me,lost all the skin to my face had to wear a mask for 3 months,brake lever went up through my lip and up nostril.got barred from cafes etc.1971 on my honda 50.got hit by mini,ankle was smashed through skin,that was sore.1990.slating a roof slipped and fell 30 feet,landed on my feet,but rest of body kept on going.dont have any arch in feet,dont have any ankle bones or heel on left foot,both are like a peice of lava rock.still got metal plates in hip and right ankle,so when i die going to scrap yard,,.would love to go through airport metal detector see what happens.,thats my life story.

With all due fairness, it sounds plausible that the OP is "seeing" these sort of things. People with sleep paralysis can "see" things like demons near their beds etc.... but it's all in the head

I can imagine it would actually be quite scary to get sleep paralysis. I don't believe that the OP has a gift or is cursed however

It's not ghosts that people see, who have sleep paralysis but something that the mind makes

The stories of people who have it, are very similar. You can't deny that it's not real when the people who have it tell very similar stories, without even knowing what it is and without knowing any one else with it

It's very different when there's been lots of scientific research behind this. If it wasn't real, it would not be in the NHS's interest to invest money in to helping patients with this. It would be pointless, and a waste of money

The NHS regularly have to justify why they're spending x on y. If it wasn't real, the NHS wouldn't have been given funding for it
