Even if this was true, when you think about it we've had worse days....owt after the end of the world isn't going to upset us is it because we'll be brown bread. Even if it does happen it's nowt the planet hasn't done before a few times and the planet is terminal anyway. So it's inevitable that somewhere along the way life on Earth is screwed. Whether it's 2 years away or 2 million, the outcome is inevitable. It's just a matter of whether we can save ourselves in the meantime.
I wouldn't worry about it, 2012 is more than likely bullshit and scare mongering. And either way there's nothing we can do but wait and in any case we've got time for a piss up before chucking out time.
