the initial poster has resolved his issues mate, but nice feedback all the same. he had to use redsn0w on xp and downgrade bb again. even though all he had to do was run redsn0w as administrator and preserve baseband as suggested by fijiman, who must have patience of a saint btw. i would have posted a link and been done with it
